The ShoGun Tournament this past Saturday was an amazing time! It was great to see so many familiar faces, spend time together, and, most importantly, see Judo continuing to grow here in Arizona.

A very special thank you to the entire ShoGun family for inviting all of us to come together and enjoy the tournament. You did a tremendous job. The hospitality was amazing, and you could truly feel the warmth and spirit of family throughout the venue.

Thank you to all of the referees, those who are currently training to become referees, and especially those who came all the way from California to help us. Your willingness to give your time and help Judo continue to grow means so much.

It was amazing to see everyone come together: parents, competitors, Sensei, coaches, and supporters. That is what makes our Judo community so special.

This was Yama Dojo’s first tournament, and I feel truly blessed that we had four people registered and competing. It is just the beginning, and I’m excited about continuing this journey together and seeing everyone at many more tournaments to come.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this such a great event. Judo is growing in Arizona, and it is exciting to be a part of it!
