Instead of using a stack of mats, they can use the couch or their bed. The girl in the video used the tops of her toes to balance on the mat. I suggest first using the bottom of toes, for more stability, and working their way to the top. Just a handstand against the wall will work, no need for the bar. I suggest someone stand by incase elbows bend and head tries to crash on the floor. You can have your hands ready by their hips. If you're needed, a quick squeeze will give you control of young one's body. Or what I do in class is have one hand by their lower back, incase they fall. And hands by knees incase they need assistance walking hands to the wall.
DO NOT let them roll without chin on chest!!! With young one's head up, they can hurt their chin or break their neck falling or rolling without their chin on their chest!!!

These are difficult until the gymnast gets used to it. Hands and back foot should move at the same time. Getting into the "T hold" ... I call it Capital T in class... will also help in cartwheels.

Unfortunately, I will have a substitute for my classes for at least the rest of the week.
My little one is not feeling well, and to be sure I won't carry it to my students, I will be out until she is better. I'll possibly be back Monday or mid next week.
I will have a substitute teacher for Monday, May 4th and Tuesday May 5th.
