Attackers breached CI/CD pipelines, poisoned releases, and rapidly spread across multiple ecosystems including GitHub Actions, Docker Hub, npm, OpenVSX, and PyPI.
Recommendations:
✅Rotate ALL accessible credentials
✅Audit CI/CD pipelines for compromised components
✅ Pin GitHub Actions to commit SHA (NOT tags)
✅ Hunt for IOCs (C2 domains, rogue Kubernetes pods)
✅ Enforce least privilege across all automation
