The 2026 AHC Pride Cup is coming!
Join us in wearing lots of colour across the weekend as all our teams celebrate LGBTIQ+ inclusion in sport ๐
We are partnering with Yarra Energy Foundation who will be sponsoring the weekend. YEF is a not-for-profit driving the transition to cleaner energy. They'll be attending on the day, providing practical information on how upgrading to efficient electric energy at home can lower household energy bills, improve home comfort and reduce emissions.
Keep an eye out for more information soon!

We a huge weekend coming up with all senior teams playing at home!
Our Premier League sides are taking on Hawthorn on Sunday, and the MPL game at 2pm will be Kieran Symons' 200th Premier League game for Altona. Debuting in Round 10 2012 at 17 years old after coming up through our junior ranks, Kieran is a stalwart member of the MPL side, stepping into different roles as needed and always making an impact. Kieran is a third-generation AHC Premier League (or equivalent) player, with both of his parents and his grandfather representing the As at the top level. Beyond Altona, Kieran has represented Victoria in Indoor, Australia Country, and Australia in Hockey 5s.
Congratulations Kieran on the big milestone, and good luck to everyone this weekend - go A's!

We've had great representation at the Hockey Australia U21 Championships in Canberra over the past week!
Kade Leigh and Jacob Yacono both played for the men's team, with Ben Guy the Assistant Coach - the side finishing in 5th place.
Naish McDonald umpired the tournament, while Eryn Norie served as Team Manager for the women, who put forward a convincing win against WA to walk away with Bronze.
Well done to all - it's always great to see Altona represented at the National Championship level both on and off the field.

It's round 1 for juniors this weekend!
For lots it's a return to playing, and for many it's also something brand new, whether that is a first game, a new team or like Sadie (pictured) - first game in goals!
Whether it's your first game or 100th game, good luck to all players, coaches, team managers and volunteers who are back out there when our 16 junior teams are back this Friday night or Saturday morning.
Also pictured is the brand new Goalkeeper kit thanks to a grant from Duracell and supplied by Republic Of Hockey
