We’re back, baby! Training returns to LTU Fencing tonight!

Welcome to 2025, fencers.

La Trobe Uni Fencing returns tonight, 6:00pm in Menzies College Studio.

Hey everyone!
You should have already received two emails about this, however we would like to remind everyone that our AGM will be held on the 6th of December starting from 6pm in the Menzies Studios.

The emails should contain the following things:
- Zoom meeting link
- Proxy form
- 2025 committee role descriptions

Should you be unable to access any of the following, need to check if you have paid your annual fee so that you may nominate/vote on candidates, or have any other concerns relating to the upcoming AGM, please get in touch with us ASAP via our socials or our email ([email protected]) so we can sort you out.

Members interested in the committee positions, in helping us grow/improve, or the future direction of the club should attend the AGM.

2 INDIVIDUAL UNINATIONALS MEDALS IN 2 YEARS!!! 🥈🥉

Third time's the charm for LEAP athlete and fencing team manager Jacob Ohrt, who clinched bronze for Team La Trobe at this years UniNationals Men's Epee.

Unfortunately Jacob was unable to progress to the final after being defeated in the semifinal by eventual winner Sunny Lee (USyd), but fought back in the bronze medal match against fellow Victorian Ethan Tam (Monash) to make it onto the podium.

Massive congratulations to Jacob and our whole UniNationals team this year - Matt, Russell, Mu and AMP! We're all incredibly proud of you! 🦅

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!! 🗣🗣🗣
We're super pleased to announce that we have moved into our new venue in Menzies College (still on LTU campus)! With the new location we were also able to secure our old hours of 6-10pm on both Monday and Friday nights. This change officially starts from TONIGHT (02/09)!

Huge weekend for our fencers competing at the State Intervarsity Individual and Teams Championships! This was also fantastic practice for the upcoming Nationals in early September.

We secured🥇 in Mixed Individual Epee (Jacob) and🥉 in Mixed Teams Sabre (AMP, Matt, Mu, Jacob).

Congratulations to all the competitors!

Good morning everyone!

Reminder that starting TONIGHT (29/07) we are back to our regular semester hours of Mondays 7-10pm and Fridays 6-9pm.

Beginners, please note that your session will start one hour after the start of regular training. We're looking forward to meeting you all and welcoming you to our club!
