A huge congratulations to Ruby, who has expanded her qualifications to include Competitive Strokes instruction!

This fantastic achievement reflects Ruby’s commitment to continuing to learn, grow and develop as an instructor. She are now ready to help swimmers refine their technique, build endurance and develop their competitive swimming skills.

When the Monaro Mall opened in the heart of Civic in 1963, it was such a special moment that the PM himself, Robert Menzies, cut the ribbon.
Why? The Monaro Mall was the first multi-level, enclosed shopping centre in the nation - designed to protect customers from Canberra's freezing winters and hot summers.
Nearly a hectare in size and room for 2000 cars, it boasted a huge David Jones and Coles New World stores along with more than 60 specialty shops.
Today we know it as the Canberra Centre.
