Then it’s Week 2 — with three teams taking the field on Grand Final day.

After four years as an Assistant Coach at Heidelberg Football Netball Club, we want to take the opportunity to thank Jay Shepherd for everything he has contributed to the club.

Jay has been an important part of our coaching group over the past four seasons, giving his time, knowledge and commitment to our players and the club.

A big thank you also to Jay’s family for their support throughout his time at the Berg.

There’s still plenty of footy to come this season, but as Jay prepares to finish up at the end of the year, we want to acknowledge and thank him for everything he has given to the club.

You’ll always be a part of the Berg family, Jay. 🖤💛

This weekend, we celebrate Keenan Posar reaching 100 games for Heidelberg Football Netball Club.

Since joining the Berg in 2021, Keenan has become an integral part of our club. He has built strong relationships with those around him and has always been a team first player.

Over the past six seasons, Keenan has consistently led by example. His selflessness, leadership and commitment to our club has earned him the respect of everyone around him, both on and off the field.

His football record is equally impressive:
