Tuggeranong parkrun

A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 8am at Lake Tuggeranong. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

Tuggeranong parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am starting Feb 23 2013 in Tuggeranong, Canberra. parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5k timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. ⏰ 7:55am: Welcome & Safety brief
⏰ 8:00am: Start time

‼️ 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒 ‼️
➡️ Please do not gather on the path before we commence AND be quiet while the safety brief is communicated by the Run Director 🤫

𝐊𝐄𝐘 𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐒:
✅ Keep left at all times (we share the path), only overtake when it is safe to do so, and be courteous to all people on the course.
✅ Be mindful of our neighbours near the footbridge and please progress quietly along this section of the course. 🤫
✅ One dog per runner/walker …
Please use a handheld lead..no waist leads
✅ Under 11s must stay within arm's reach of a parent or guardian.
✅ Only cross the finish line once to avoid timing confusion.
✅ Hand in your token after finishing.
✅ Parking and toilet facilities are available.
