Today’s the day! ⛳️

Our near and dear Haugen’s Golf Tournament is happening today, and we’re looking forward to a great afternoon supporting such a special community event.

Just a friendly reminder that we’ll be closing a little early today:

⛳️ Golf Course closes at 1 PM
🍴 1862 Social House closes at 5 PM

Thank you, as always, for your understanding and support. We can’t wait for a great day with everyone!

Another event close to our hearts is happening this weekend — the 3rd Annual Haugen’s Golf Tournament! ⛳️

We’re proud sponsors of this special event and always grateful for the opportunity to support something that brings our community together.

The tournament kicks off at 3 PM, followed by a delicious feast and a great evening together.

To accommodate the event, we’ll be closing a little earlier than usual:

⛳️ Golf Course: Closing at 1 PM
🍴 1862 Social House: Closing at 5 PM

We truly enjoy being able to support our community in such a fun way. Events like this are what being a local course and gathering place is all about — bringing people together, supporting one another, and having a whole lot of fun while we do it.

We can’t wait to see everyone this weekend!

We’re so proud to be part of the 1st Annual Vienna Classic Charity Golf Tournament! ⛳️💙

This is what community is all about — coming together, giving back, and supporting a cause that touches families across our province. The Vienna Classic is raising funds for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, helping support vital pediatric research and programs that provide life-changing care for BC kids and their families. We’re honoured to sponsor and host this special day right here at Overlander.

Please note, Overlander Golf & Events Centre and 1862 Social House will be CLOSED Saturday, September 19th for the tournament.

Want to be part of it? Golf registration is full, but you can still make an impact by donating directly to BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Every bit of support helps! 💙

Meet our small, but mighty grounds crew! 👏🏼 Jerry, Dan, Scott & Emily — with Albert hard at work in the second photo, and our summer student, Ben, not pictured! ⛳️

There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to keep Overlander looking its best, and we’re incredibly grateful for the hard work our grounds crew puts in all season long.

This season, they’ve been extra hard at work tackling our bunker improvement program, all while keeping our greens and fairways in great shape for everyone to enjoy.

Thanks to their dedication, our community has a beautiful course to gather, play a round, and enjoy all season long. And a special shoutout to Scott in Golf Operations, who keeps things running smoothly in the pro shop, answers your questions, and is always there to help!

We’re proud of the people who make Overlander what it is. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed — thank you, crew! 👏
