Big news, curling fans — Cornwall is hosting the 2027 Curling Ontario Men’s & Women’s Championships! 🥌🔥

Jan 10–17, 2027 at the Cornwall Civic Complex — eight top teams per division, a full round‑robin, and knockout playoffs. New format, bigger drama, same Ontario pride. Co‑hosted with the City of Cornwall and the Cornwall Curling Centre — expect community vibes, great hospitality, and epic on‑ice action.

The Steve (Bubba) Smith closing bonspiel concluded on Friday April 17th with a 12 team playoff. Finishing 1st with 20 points was the team skipped be Lionel Beauregard. Finishing 2nd with 16 points was the team skipped by Tony Greene and in 3rd place was the team skipped by Mike Villeneuve. The Senior Division also handed out their year end awards.winning the " Spirit of Curling" was awarded to Louis Benoit with the "Rookie of the Year" going to Kevin Grady.

What an incredible way to wrap up our youth curling season! 🥌🎉
From first slides to confident shots, it’s been amazing watching our young curlers grow, learn, and support one another all season long. The smiles, laughter, and team spirit on the ice made every week something special.
A big thank you to our dedicated coaches, volunteers, and families who made it all possible—and of course to our awesome youth curlers for bringing the energy every time you stepped on the ice!
