Fine tuning my voice again to be sharper to be authentic to who I am now, post the postpartum depths of hardships, is the highest of highs. In a room full of people that don’t look anything like me, I know myself and the values I hold to speak my vibrations of life and love into the air.
Authenticity is the holding the respect of clearing old blocks and throat opening to receive direction. My voice is here to not only speak for myself or the what is to be deemed good or worthy, but also the trenches of violent systems we live in and what living means.
Gratitude to the team of coaches & my assistant ( & ) for getting me to places where I can be awarded titles like top trainer of Canada from 2x in the last few years.

Experiencing colorism firsthand helps me know that it is a real matter to address internally & externally. Being a dark-skinned woman I can firmly say that your lived experience is not to be overlooked. Living in the U.S. for most of my adolescence into my mid-20’s is where I know it exists at an early age & trickles into every aspect of life.
Addressing it though doesn’t mean to become a victim of it. And if you don’t have anything to address because you are lighter skin, but call yourself an ally to all, then there is work for you do too. That self-trust and self-respect is where it starts, following with education and surrounding yourself with folks who offer insight comes next.
Knowing that I am a whole human that deserves every right to exist and experience joy is the greatest gem in working through my own colorism. Discomfort isn’t dangerous, it’s where you grow into something you never thought was possible ✨

The feats of fathering are seen by your capacity to love and to love hard. She and I would not be as well as we are without your resiliency & care. She is our greatest gift and here she is because you sowed into me.

celebrating pride today & everyday🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️We all deserve to exist & to have our sovereign rights to be a body taking up space, energy, & time. As Marsha P. Johnson stated “no pride for some of us without liberation for all of us”
