I love this character.

The glamour, the elegance, the sparkle, the confidence, the little bit of drama… everything about it feels so alive.

As an artist, I love getting to step into different worlds and become different versions of myself through performance.

But some characters feel extra special.

This 1920s glamour character is one of them.

When I perform, I feel my best. I feel connected, confident, feminine, powerful, and completely myself.

Some people glow under the lights.

I think I glow when I get to perform.

How taking a little break from aerial silks looks like…

You tell yourself, “I’ll just take it easy.”

Then suddenly you are back in the air, testing what your body remembers, realizing your muscles did not forget, but they definitely have opinions.

Aerial silks will always humble you a little.

Strength, trust, flexibility, patience, and a reminder that coming back is also part of the journey.

My lovely husband, I honestly can’t believe it has already been a year since we got married. Sometimes it feels like so much time has passed, and other times it feels like it was only yesterday.

From the first moment I saw you, I knew I had met my soulmate. I know people often say things like that, but with you, I truly feel it. During this year, I have seen how much we have grown together and how deeply we share the same values, views, and dreams for our future.

I am so in love with building our life and our home together, and I can’t wait to see what is ahead for us.

You can achieve anything you truly want.

Even in a place where no one knows you.
Even when you have to start again.
Even when no one sees how much work it takes behind the scenes.

But something I am still learning is this:

You have to rest too.

When you have big goals, it is easy to think you always have to go, go, go. Keep working. Keep pushing. Keep proving yourself.

But big success does not come from a tired mind.

Big dreams need energy.
Big dreams need patience.
Big dreams need discipline.
And big dreams need you to take care of yourself too.

So keep going. Keep believing. Keep working for the life you want.

But do not forget to rest on the way.

Through the years, so much has changed.

Different stages, different costumes, different music, different versions of me.

But aerial silks still bring me back to the same feeling.

Strength, freedom, discipline, trust, and that quiet moment in the air where everything else disappears.

No matter how many times I perform, I still love this.
