“I’m too tight for Pilates” — this is your sign.
That’s exactly WHY you should be doing it.

Hot take:
Cardio is one of the most underrated forms of exercise right now.
Not because it burns calories.
Because it builds endurance, mental toughness, cardiovascular fitness, and the ability to keep going when things get hard.
Somewhere along the way, people forgot that cardio trains one of the most important muscles in the body: your heart.
The spin class effect is real. 👀
Who’s still sleeping on cardio?
What I wish I knew before barre…
It’s not always about lifting heavier.
And honestly? That mindset used to hold me back.
Because this is where it actually happens —
slow reps, tiny movements, zero ego… and suddenly your legs are shaking.
Lengthen. Strengthen. Control.
And if you think this looks easy… try holding it for 30 seconds. Be honest… would you survive this leg shake? 😭
heavy weights or low impact burn — which one feels harder for you?
Read that again:
You don’t need to be fit to start working out.
You get fit by working out.
The confidence, strength, and results you’re waiting for are built through action—not before it.
If you’re seeing this, consider it your sign to start today. 🤍
What’s one goal you’re working toward right now? 👇
Everyone wants a “step goal” 👣
But I’ve learned it’s not about chasing a number — it’s about showing up daily.
Still… if you’re wondering, I average around 12,000 steps a day.
What’s yours?
May recap: another month of Pilates as my version of wellness. I think I used to think consistency had to look strict, but this month showed me it can also just be returning to something that feels good again and again, until it becomes part of your normal.
The best parts of May🌸
The workout might be over, but this part matters just as much.
Stretching is my little reminder to slow down, check in with my body, and give it a moment of care after asking so much from it. Recovery isn’t the extra—it’s part of the routine ✨
The biggest lie about Pilates… that slow means easy.
People see controlled movement and assume it’s light or “not enough,” but what they don’t feel is the intensity behind every single rep.
Pilates is about precision, control, and endurance. It’s holding positions longer than feels comfortable, shaking through movements you can’t rush, and training muscles in a way that looks effortless but feels completely different.
Just because it’s slow doesn’t mean it’s easy—it means you’re actually in control of every muscle working.
And that’s where the change happens.
It’s never my workout when I’m teaching Pilates—my full attention is on my clients and making sure they feel supported and challenged in the right way. That part never changes.
But I also believe movement doesn’t have to be limited to a “workout.” I stay in motion in small, intentional ways throughout the day. It’s not about turning class into my training—it’s about living a lifestyle where movement is always present, even in the background.
