Goulds Minor Hockey Association is now accepting nominations for our Coach of the Year and Volunteer of the Year awards.

This is a great opportunity to recognize the coaches and volunteers who went above and beyond during the 2025/26 season and helped make a positive impact on our players, teams, and association.

📣 Goulds Minor Hockey Association Annual General Meeting

Goulds Minor Hockey Association will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on:

📅 Monday, June 29
🕖 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
📍Goulds Arena - Warm Room

All GMHA members in good standing are encouraged to attend. The AGM is an important opportunity to review the past season, discuss association business, and help shape the direction of Goulds Minor Hockey for the upcoming year.

GMHA is also looking for members for the following volunteer positions:

• President
• Treasurer
• DJHL Rep
• MCHL Rep
• U7/9 Coordinator

Southern Shore Breakers Minor Hockey Association has officially been selected to host the NHL/NHLPA First Shift Program for Fall 2026! 🎉

We are thrilled to offer TWO separate groups to help ensure there’s something for everyone:
💜 All-Female Group
💙 Co-Ed Group

The NHL/NHLPA First Shift program is designed for children ages 6–10 who are interested in trying hockey in a fun, welcoming, beginner-friendly environment.

✅ No experience needed
✅ No equipment? No problem!
✅ Full Bauer equipment included
✅ 6 on-ice sessions
✅ Make friends, learn the game, and become part of a team!

📅 Registration Opens: June 8, 2026
🎉 Welcome Event: September 27, 2026
🏒 Sessions start: October 10, 2026

For only $299, First Shift helps young players fall in love with hockey while building confidence, friendships, and skills along the way.

If you have a child or know a child aged 6–10 who wants to HAVE FUN, MAKE FRIENDS, and PLAY HOCKEY, this program could be the perfect fit!
