A real pleasure to give Neil Greenfield his 1st stripe on his jiujitsu white belt tonight
I get to give him something back by teaching him jiujitsu,
Greeny teached me n all others mates a lot about survival when we was wee nippers
When our mums thought we was camping in mates back garden we was actually camping in woods swimming in lakes building fires making rope swings
I always remember waking up freezing day after and him telling everyone to get a hot rock to carry home.
a big stone rock that you built around the fire that was still warm, 🏕️ Good memories
Callum got 3 stripes tonight on his belt
Long over due n to be honest he's ready for his next belt
He's been out with a shoulder injury that keeps coming back
But when he's on the mats he's a sponge and takes everything in
His jiujitsu is strong
Hopefully he can compete again one day 🙏
