🏊‍♂️🌟 What a fantastic couple of weekends for Team Bath AS. swimmers! 🌟🏊‍♀️

Firstly, at the Frome Swimming Club Meet on 17 May, some of our youngest swimmers from the Dragonfly and Aspire squads took to the pool and did themselves proud. 💙💛 There was a brilliant atmosphere throughout the day, with numerous personal best swims and an incredible medal haul of 🥇20 Gold, 🥈9 Silver and 🥉8 Bronze medals!

This past weekend saw over 50 Team Bath AS swimmers compete at the City of Wells Open Meet at Millfield School. 🙌 With such a fantastic turnout, the swimmers once again delivered outstanding performances, achieving many personal bests and bringing home another impressive medal tally of 🥇25 Gold, 🥈24 Silver and 🥉17 Bronze medals!

A huge congratulations to all our swimmers for their hard work, commitment and achievements in the pool. 👏🏆

We would also like to say a massive thank you to our coaches, team managers and volunteers who have supported the swimmers across both weekends 💙💛

April has been a huge month for Team Bath AS. — packed with performances, progress, and podium moments 🔥

We kicked things off on the international stage, with 9 of our Performance swimmers heading to Stockholm for the Malmsten Swim Open Meet 2026. Accompanied by Head of Swimming Liam and Team Managers Cara and Dave, the team delivered in style. Highlights included Nathan stepping up in two junior finals, Hugo and James smashing long-standing club records, and Kate powering her way to silver 🥈 in the 200m fly — all while racing alongside world-class competition.

Next up: the Aquatics GB Championships 2026 — another action-packed week full of PBs and standout swims from Nancy, James and Harry. Nancy impressed by qualifying for both the 100m MC freestyle and 50m MC butterfly finals, going on to secure a fantastic silver in the 50m MC butterfly 🥈

Adding to the excitement, Club Patron Josh Gammon led from the front with a stunning gold medal performance in the 50m butterfly, booking his place at the European Championships 🥇 An incredible achievement and inspiration to all our swimmers.

Back home, we’re continuing to grow — with the club expanding and opening applications for a Level 2 Swim Coach. Exciting times ahead for Team Bath AS!

Meanwhile, Hugo was back in action at the Bergen Swim Festival, where he smashed the club record in the 200m freestyle and powered into the B Final. A brilliant performance and a glimpse of what’s to come — inspiring teammates across the programme.

We rounded off the month at the Swim England South West Regional Championships 2026, where our Age Group swimmers gave it everything in the pool. Special mentions to Pierce for an outstanding medal haul of gold, silver, and bronze 🥇🥈🥉 and Ella for her silver in the 50m breaststroke 👏

April has shown exactly what this team is about — commitment, progression, and pride in representing Team Bath AS. With more competitions on the horizon, we’re heading into an exciting summer together 💙
