SGPT 🤰🏻 Small group pregnancy training

Hard to believe we only launched in February! Honestly one of my absolute favourite sessions to coach - I’m in awe of the energy and commitment these mums have been showing to their training 🩷

We’re ready to expand! Adding on an extra session to the Wednesday evening timetable so you’ll now be able to join SGPT at either 6:30pm or 7:30pm in Avenge gym, Mallusk

☀️ M A Y S T A G E 1 G R O U P S ☀️

Join the MamaFit stage 1 program this May. Safe and supportive fitness & nutrition suited toward post partum recovery, focusing on rebuilding the core, pelvic floor and overall strength and fitness. At your pace.

12sessions over 6 weeks in either Mallusk or Lisburn, small groups of max 10 mums. Babes welcome along so no childcare required 🩷

This Saturday 18th April we are running a parent and toddler group for Dads or those in a male caring role - Step dads, grandads - living in the Greater Shankill area with children aged between 0-4 years.

Not registered? No problem we can do that on the day!

Come alomg between 10am-12pm and have some fun!

What to expect... Messy play, outdoors play, we'll set up a baby area, arts and crafts and refreshments provided too!

A huge WELL DONE to these amazing mamas dedicating 2 mornings a week to their own physical and mental healing post partum and being the BEST role models for their little people 👏🏼🩷

*half term didn’t stop them - yes you see mums here with THREE babes! Superwomen 🔥

We wrapped up our 6 week stage 1 program in Mallusk this morning, ready to begin again next week with a brand new group of mamas as this lot progresses onward to Stage 2 💪🏼

All programs are full now until April, I have started to compile a wee list of interest for then and will open booking in a couple weeks time - if you are interested or have any questions just pop me a DM

So what about nutrition and supplementation now you’re growing a tiny human? ⬆️

*100g protein is a good average amount to aim for each day in pregnancy but if you want to aim for the amount your body specifically needs, it’s ~ 1.5g x your weight in KG 💪🏼

Our pregnancy series continues in the lead up to a new, exciting launch for pregnant mamas…

New to exercise or want to make a start for a fit and healthy pregnancy - well great, this should be celebrated! Messages can be conflicting, particularly from older generations but not isolated to them 👀
My advice - don’t take what anyone tells you as gospel, do your own research and look at EVIDENCE on the topic. This is YOUR body and you decide what you do with it and how best to support your pregnancy journey 🙌🏼

It’s like when pregnant mums say ‘oh *they* told me I have until such and such a date to go into spontaneous labour or I’ll have to come in for induction’ 😵‍💫 sorry what!? Who’s having this baby? 😂😂
