This morning’s HIIT class was 🔥
We hit a full body workout this morning using barbells and steppers — strength, cardio, coordination, and endurance all in one session 💪
The room was packed, the energy was high, and the vibes were even higher 🙌 Everybody worked hard, everybody had fun, and the smiles at the end said it all!
Using barbells helped us build strength, improve muscle tone, and boost metabolism, while the steppers kept the heart rate up, improving cardiovascular fitness and stamina. The combo is perfect for:
✅ Burning calories
✅ Building lean muscle
✅ Improving coordination
✅ Increasing endurance
✅ Boosting confidence
Super proud of everyone for showing up, pushing through, and giving it their all in such a busy class 👏
Same time next week… who’s in? 🔥💥

A little update on client Fionuala 💁🏻♀️
18 months of consistency - WE ARE NOW 5 STONE DOWN!
This didn’t happen through shortcuts. It happened through consistency. Through showing up on the days she felt motivated — and especially on the days she didn’t. Through improving her nutrition, building better habits, trusting the process, and refusing to quit when progress felt slow.
She learned how to fuel her body properly.
She trained when it was hard.
She stayed patient.
She stayed accountable.
She kept turning up.
That’s what real transformation looks like.
No crash diets. No quick fixes. Just commitment, resilience, and 18 months of putting in the work.
So proud of you — not just for the 5 stone loss, but for the mindset shift, the confidence you’ve built, and the example you set every single week. 💪
This is what happens when you decide you’re not giving up on yourself.
Well@done Fionuala ❤️

2011 Eagles 5 v 4 Carniny FC
The Eagles picked up all 3 points in a 9 goal thriller at Colaiste Feirste on Saturday after a fantastic team performance.
The boys haven’t been getting the results their performances have deserved this season, and at 3-1 down as half time approached today, they had a mountain to climb to get anything from this game. And yet they did it.
We were never second best in this match, but after a bright start we went one down in the tenth minute to a wonder strike from the edge of the box.
Seven minutes later we got back on levelterms though when their keeper parried a shot away and Niall reacted quickly to follow up and coolly finish.
The game became a scrappy affair with both teams pushing for the next goal, it was Carniny who found the net to make it 2-1 and then quickly 3-1.
This seemed to give the boys a bit more momentum and on the stroke of half time, Conor swung a terrific free kick from out wide right into the danger area and Taylor glanced the ball into the net to reduce the deficit to one goal, and 2-3 at half time.
The lads weren’t letting this one go and started the second half the same way they finished the first: full of energy and running and pressing, and playing some good football.
They got their reward ten minutes into the second half when Conor finished well after good work from Niall to get the goal to make it 3-3.
On 52 minutes, we hit the bar and Carniny immediately ran up the pitch and scored to take the lead. We could have been 4-3 up and instead we’re 4-3 down, all inside 30 seconds. It seemed to sum up our luck this season.
Even then though the boys weren’t letting their heads drop or giving up, they battled on and continued to move and use the ball well. On 57 minutes we drew level yet again when Conor bundled home after a goal mouth scramble. 4-4, and a draw was the least we deserved from this game.
But the boys weren’t happy with that and on 61 minutes, we scored our fifth and the game’s ninth goal. Stephen got the ball at his feet, took aim and pulled the trigger. It flew into the net and the boys could celebrate! 5-4, and we’re ahead for the first time in the match!
There was another ten minutes to play and we had a couple more chances, so did they, and it was a great relief to hear the final whistle and bag the three points.
The boys were first class today – the way they kept their shape, their running on and off the ball, helped each other out, looked to play football and find the killer ball when it was on – it was a great all round performance, especially in a game where they were behind for such long periods and heads could easily have dropped.

Small Group PT
Another week done & dusted! Week two of January complete and I could not be more proud of this group 💪✨
These are busy ladies, looking after their families and sometimes working 2 or 3 jobs. They often show up tired and sore, but they still give it their all. That consistency is POWERFUL!
What makes this group so special isn’t just the workouts. It’s the camaraderie. The encouragement between sets. The laughs. The way they genuinely celebrate each other’s wins and pick each other up on hard days.
This group has become more than training partners, they are friends. Real friendships formed through sweat, support, and shared goals 🤍
Watching them grow stronger together, physically and mentally, is exactly why I love what I do. So grateful for these women and the energy they bring every single session.
Here’s to keeping the momentum going 💥
Missing .x today but all of the above applies to them too! ❤️

Have you started a new fitness regime in 2026?
New routine, Same goal—be better than yesterday 💪
If you are thinking of joining a gym or you may have already started your fitness journey, here’s a few tips that could help, everyone has to start somewhere!
1- BE CONSISTENT
Going to workout at the gym once every two weeks will NOT help you to boost your confidence. If you are a regular, you will start to gain confidence & navigate your way around. Join a group class, you will most likely make new gym friends & you will be able to build your fitness in a supportive, friendly environment.
2- HAVE A PLAN OF ATTACK
Have a workout plan, keep a log of your workouts & weights used etc. Start off with the basics, learn proper form & technique before you can progress.
3- MUSIC
Music is a great motivator & can help you get in the zone. It can help you focus on your workout & push you to your limits & escape from the world!
4- DONT BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP
If you are a newbie, don’t be afraid to ask staff for help. Take that gym induction & familiarise yourself with the layout of the gym & the equipment. Even consider hiring yourself a personal trainer for a few sessions. Knowledge is key!
5- GOALS
Set you self an achievable goal, something to work towards. Your goals may be to increase your fitness levels, fat loss, get strong, learn new skills etc. Remember to walk before you can run! Get your self a gym buddy, a friend or family member that can encourage you & vice versa.
6- DIET
Diet is key!! You cannot out train a bad diet. Being in calorie deficit is when weight loss occurs, if this is your goal, you must be consistent over 7 days of the week. Tracking calories on My Fitness Pal is a great way to keep track. Believe it or not, you can over consume calories even when you eat healthy food. Don’t guess, weigh your food, track it & be accountable to yourself.
7- PATIENCE
Have patience! If you work hard & stick to your goals you WILL get results. Track progress with photos/ circumference measurements, the best way in my opinion to see changes in your body composition.
Have a great weeks training everyone 💪🏻
