A look back at Saturdays Total Dancer Workshop, we covered everything from:

DEEP CORE ENGAGEMENT AND BREATHWORK

MOBILITY AND FLOW TO INCREASE FUNCTIONAL RANGE.

EXPLOSIVE STRENGTH AND MOBILITY WORK FOR HIGHER JUMPS AND SAFER LANDINGS

SPECIFIC MINDSET AND JOURNALLING QUESTIONS WHERE EACH DANCER CONSIDERED WHAT EMOTIONAL PREPARATION WAS REQUIRED FOR UPCOMING COMPETITIONS

Watching the Dancers apply corrections in real time. Seeing the cues and feedback land just right, as each participant tuned into the feeling of the movements, was the highlight of the weekend. A true reminder of why I love what I do.

Ever feel like you are stretching a muscle and it just won't let go?? It might not be your muscles, it could be your nerves. Whilst stretching creates length in the muscle fibres, nerve gliding (like the sciatic floss I'm doing in the video) ensures your nervous system is moving freely through your tissues. Speed masks what stillness reveals.
It's easy to hide behind pace, whether thats in the gym OR in everyday life. We "do the squats". We "do the chores". But are we connected to any of it. Often "autopilot" becomes the norm. The biggest coaching cue i give to 99% of my clients is to SLOW DOWN TO SPEED UP. When you master the connection in the Slow/controlled movement, your full pace becomes more intentional
