A message to our boxers and parents…

Boxing isn’t something you can “play at.”

It’s a weight-controlled combat sport where discipline isn’t optional—it’s about performance, safety, and respect for your opponent.

Turning up to the gym a couple of nights a week isn’t enough. The work happens every day: eating properly, making weight the right way, getting enough sleep, completing your runs, and being consistent with training. That’s what being a boxer looks like.

As coaches, we give up our evenings, weekends, and family time voluntarily because we believe in every boxer who walks through our doors. We don’t ask for perfection—we ask for commitment.

But commitment has to work both ways.

If you’re only prepared to give boxing 50%, you can’t expect your coaches to keep giving you 100%.

Parents, we need you with us too. Help us build disciplined, respectful young people by encouraging the right habits at home. When coaches and parents work together, everyone wins.

Talent will only take you so far.

Hard work, consistency, and dedication are what separate those who dream from those who achieve.

So ask yourself one question…

As We Navigate Our Re Build From The Floor Things Are Looking A Bit More Encouraging.. If You’ve Been Involved In Running A Boxing Club For A Length Of Time? You Get To See Peaks & Troughs Throughout The Season’s.. Last Year We Bottomed Out But Still Chalked Up Honours.. We Really Started Afresh With A Crop Of Youngsters That Didn’t Know Their Left From Right.. We Have Never Been Or Would Want To Be A Fashion Trend ….As This Sport Is As Fickle As There Is,From Top To Bottom.. Every One Of Our National Champions & Medalists Over The Years Walked Through Our Doors “UNBOXED” A Fact That We Are Extremely Proud Of And Gives Measure To The Coaching Quality That We Have.. The Green Shoots Of Recovery Are Now Starting To Leaf And With More Hard Work In The Gym & On The Road.. We Expect Further Progress Next Season..
