IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

We’re incredibly excited to announce the next chapter in our club’s journey as we expand into a new venture, with the launch of FCFC Women.

This exciting step reflects our ambition, community spirit and commitment to extend our offer for people on the Fylde Coast to improve their mental health through the sport we all love.

We’re delighted to have a fantastic group of players and a great management team in Shabs and Loz leading the way.

We can’t wait to see what they can achieve on and off the pitch and we’re proud to welcome FCFC Women to the family.

Casuals Write Up 14/09

Another great showing for Monday Night Casuals this week, with 18 lads all down again for the weekly session.

This week we had Howarth’s 9 vs Halpin’s 9 and what a game it was! Probably one of the closely contested games we’ve ever had on a Monday night.

The goals started flying in for both teams early on from kick off, with Howarth’s 9 taking an early lead going 1-0 up quickly, however it didn’t last with Halpin’s 9 quickly equalising and that’s how it went for the first half of the session. The scores by the half way point were 3-3!

The game then opened up with Halpin’s 9 establishing a 6-3 lead…but it was far from over! Howarth’s 9 fought back into the game making it 6-6 heading into the final few minutes. Then, in the last minute Halpin’s 9 scored to win the game, making the final score 7-6.

Halpin’s 9 - Liam B - A quality performance from the man at the back. Liam was everywhere on the pitch and involved in the build up for a few goals, topping it off with 2 for himself!

Howarth’s 9 - Bobby - Another superb showing for the Bobby! Keeping his team in the game on several occasions with clinical challenges and blocks! Also, showing his composure when playing out from the back!

Fylde Community Football Club 6-0 JFT Fitness FC💙

What a way to spend a Saturday afternoon! 👏

The lads put in a fantastic team performance in the Blackpool Ballers Social Inclusion League, coming away with a brilliant 6-0 victory against JFT Fitness FC.

We came out flying and went into the break 3-0 up, before adding another three goals in the second half to complete a fantastic afternoon for the Fylde family. 💪

🧤 Huge credit to Keiffer, who stepped in between the sticks and kept a fantastic clean sheet. A massive shout-out to the entire defence too, who worked brilliantly together to keep JFT Fitness FC at bay. 💪

With our manager absent, a big thank you to our Temporary Management Team of Chairman Windy, Goalkeeper Jack Howarth and Andy Lines for overseeing the game and helping guide the lads to a fantastic result!

Casuals Write Up - 07/09⚽️

A return for casuals this week after a break last week due to the bank holiday, but a rainy Monday didn’t stop the lads from coming down and putting on a show.

This week was Windy’s 9 vs Howarth’s 9 and what a contest it was! The game got off to a fast start, with 2 quick fire goals early on giving Howarth’s 9 a very quick 2-0 lead. There was a few chances from both sides before another 2 quick goals saw Howarth’s team leading 4-0.

Windy then rallied his team and 4 goals in 3 minutes had the game tied around the half way point at 4-4. But it didn’t stop there! The chances kept coming for both teams, with some really good football on show in the build up. Goals continued flying in for the rest of the night with the final score finishing 12-7 to Howarth’s 9!

Friendly Result: Blackpool & Wyre Vets 3-0 FCFC⚽️

A tough defeat on the road to our local Vets side.

After a back and forth opening 60 minutes, the host tucked one away, before adding two more before full time. Even though we had a couple of chances, it was clear it was going to be one of them days at the office!

A tough game, but lessons to be learned as we now move back into league action on the weekend.
