O.B.R.F.C are delighted to announce that Nick Cussen has been appointed by the committees as Club President, taking over from the legendary Rich Berry.

Nick is uniquely qualified for the role, being involved in all aspects of the club for decades - from having helped lead the 1s as we moved up the leagues and still turning out for the vets, to coaching from U6 to U18s, to being very active in our past-players community - he’s the definition of a Club Man.

He also has excellent links with Bristol Bears, constituent bodies and the local school rugby community. He’s also a top bloke.

A mixed afternoon for the O.B.R.F.C senior sides.

🏠 1XV 33–56 Burnham-on-Sea 1XV

A tough afternoon at home, with plenty to take forward. Number 8, Hugh Richardson, stood out with a hat-trick and was named our Player of the Match.

🚌 2XV 21–3 Aretians

A strong away performance from the 2XV sees them come away with a well-earned win, with Sean Duffy as our Player of the Match.

Thanks to everyone who travelled and supported both sides. 🟒🟣🟑
