With the sun out and temperatures up, it's so important for kids to stay hydrated when they're active outdoors 💧

Better hydration means better focus, better energy and a lot more fun on the pitch.

We take regular breaks during sessions, but it really helps if children arrive with a full water bottle, sun hat and suncream on. Those three things can make a big difference on a hot day!

So if your child is coming to a session with us soon, make sure they're packed and ready for the sunshine ☀️

We notice the pass more than the goal ⚽

The goals get the cheers, they always will. But ask any coach what they really love seeing on the pitch, and the answer is usually something else…

👉🏻 The kid who looks up before passing.

👉🏻 The one who steps back so a teammate can take the chance.

👉🏻 The one who shouts "great try" when a shot goes wide.

These are the moments that don't show up on a score sheet, but they're the moments that turn a group of kids into a team.

In our sessions, we make a point of noticing them because being a good teammate is a skill, just like a first touch or a finish. It can be learned, practised and quietly built up over time.

In our opinion, it's one of the best things football can give a child!

Our Football Fundays are back at Redland Green, packed with games, mini-tournaments and plenty of football fun, all led by our FA-qualified coaches in a fun, supportive environment.

A first for Soccer Shooters… Girls Only Football Funday at Cotham School!

We're so excited to be running our very first all-day Girls Only Holiday Club this May half term!

Sometimes girls thrive in a space that's just theirs. No nerves, no holding back, just football, friends and a whole lot of fun.
