Do you think you have to step on the scale to see progress?
It’s something that puts a lot of people off. They think they cant start with a trainer because it’s necessary to weigh yourself. Wrong!!
It’s so easy to get trapped in weighing yourself daily, letting a number decide if it’s a good or bad day.
But did you know scale weight fluctuates on
-water retention
-digestion and waste
-hormones
-cortisol and stress
You can still weight train and track progress with how your clothes fit, your energy levels, strength, progress pictures, measurements… the list goes on, and it doesn’t have to be every single one!
Focus on consistency, grow with confidence and you’ll see the changes.
I’ve been working with a client for almost a year, and she hasn’t weighed herself once. Instead of focusing on the scales, she focused on building consistent habits. Over time her confidence has grown, she can see and feel the difference in herself and her mindset has shifted completely. All of that progress without stepping on the scales.
