Everyone at Wheatley Hills RUFC Colts is incredibly proud of one of our own, Heath “The Jackal” Cawkwell-Stansfield.

Just six months ago, Heath launched his own company, CS Legal Assistance Ltd. Yesterday, after a determined three-month legal battle—all while studying for his GCSEs—he secured his very first successful client result.

He achieved an out-of-court settlement for clients in Retford, helping them recover tens of thousands of pounds in compensation from an unscrupulous builder.

What an incredible achievement, and not a bad way to start a career!

The confidence, resilience and determination Heath has shown are qualities we see every week in our Colts team, and it’s fantastic to watch him apply those same values away from the rugby field.

Congratulations, Heath. Your Wheatley Hills RUFC Colts family couldn’t be prouder, and we wish you every success for the future. 👏💪🏉

🏉 Building the future of rugby at Wheatley Hills Mini Juniors

A brilliant session this week as Wheatley Hills Mini Juniors continued to strengthen links with local schools through rugby development.

A huge thank you to Mr Chris Rose from Hill House School, who led a fantastic coaching session with our U14s, supported by Corey and Logan from Wheatley Hills Colts — both also students at Hill House School.

It was great to see a few new faces at the club, with six Hill House pupils coming down and hopefully joining the Wheatley Hills family. The Mini Juniors section continues to grow, with 19 minis attending, showing real momentum across the age groups.

A great evening of coaching, teamwork, and community rugby. Massive thanks to Chris, Corey, Logan, Hill House School, and everyone involved.

New players are always welcome — come down and give rugby a try!

Brilliant to see Ryan and Corey from the WH Colts giving their time to help Lee Gray and the coaches with our U7s.

This is exactly what Wheatley Hills is all about — older lads giving back, younger players looking up to them, and everyone pulling in the same direction.

We’re always looking to welcome more children into the Mini & Junior section, and this is what they become part of — a proper club community where players are supported from their very first session.

No experience needed.

Out of more than 150 volunteers, our very own Team Manager, Lee Gray, has been recognised by the Rugby Football Union for his outstanding contribution and commitment to grassroots club rugby.

Lee received recognition today at Hull Ionians RUFC ahead of the epic clash between Yorkshire RFU and Lancashire RFU.

A thoroughly deserved recognition for everything Lee does for the players, the club, and the wider rugby community.
