As we begin to prepare for the new academic year and all the amazing sessions we have planned, we wanted to take a moment to say goodbye, good luck and thank you to all our graduates from this year! They’ve all helped make the club what it is today and we wish them the best in their future adventures. We hope to see you all at reunion in a couple years!
Swipe to see some of our happy graduates and some memories from their time in the club :)

DUCC has just spent the best part of 2 weeks in the sunny French alps. Here is the photo dump.
To burn off the excessive amount of baguette and Sangria we usually ran 3 sections a day, including:
✅️ Briancon gorge
✅️ Upper Guil
✅️ Château Queyras
✅️ Middle Guil
✅️ Guardian Angel Gorge
✅️ Middle Ubaye
✅️ Fresquiere
✅️ Ubaye Racecourse
✅️ Ubaye Gorge
✅️ Upper Guisane
✅️ Lower Guisane
✅️ Gyr
✅️ Gyronde
✅️ Sunshine run
✅️ Veneon
For some of us, however, this wasn't enough paddling, and we then went to Austria for a week.

BUCS CANOE POLO 2026:
Back in April DUCC delivered a strong performance at the annual inter-university canoe polo tournament in Nottingham. Our men’s team ‘locked in’ and finished in 5th place out of 25 teams, our best men’s polo result for several years. This included spectacular wins against Loughborough, Swansea, Cardiff and Oxford Our fresher-heavy women’s team delivered very convincing performances throughout and finished in a respectable 17th place, with a particularly dramatic golden goal win against Birmingham. Well done also to three team members who completed their level 1 polo referee course and put their knowledge to use during the tournament. An enjoyable weekend all round, well done all! Team Durham
