A week ago today Team MPOWER competed at the 2026 Highland Championships and came away with some incredible results, amazing experiences and lots of great stories to tell.

The medals are brilliant, but what I’m proudest of is the courage it took you all to walk out onto the competition floor and put yourselves out there. A huge thank you to the families who travelled up for the weekend and cheered everyone on. And to all the MPOWER crew, you all came back a little stronger than when you left 👊🏼

A HUGE well done to the entire MPOWER team after a fantastic day at the 2026 Highland Tang Soo Do Championships in Alness 🥋

I’m so proud of everyone. The effort, determination and fighting spirit they brought to their own challenges and the way they supported each other through the nerves, victories and disappointments on the day is what I’ll remember as their biggest win 🙏

Every single team member came home with a medal in at least one of their categories which was amazing and I’m so delighted for them all.

The team brought home:

🥇 Gold x 15
🥈 Silver x 10
🥉 Bronze x 4

28 medals in total ‼😃

And here’s the medal tally in detail:

Callum Torgersen - 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥈 (Sparring, Nunchucks, Bo Staff, Team Forms, Forms)
Erin Barclay - 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥉 (Sparring, Forms, Nunchucks, Team Forms, Bo Staff)
Harry Black - 🥇🥇 (Forms, Sparring)
Vincent Kyzirakos - 🥇🥈🥈 (Bo Staff, Forms, Sparring)
Talia Kyzirakos - 🥇🥈 (Forms, Bo Staff)
Max Danagher - 🥇🥉 (Team Forms, Forms)
Eilidh Trotter - 🥇 (Forms)
Elsie Gorst - 🥇 (Forms)
Rebekah Hannah - 🥈🥉 (Forms, Bo Staff)
Ally Gorst - 🥈 (Forms)
Fia Trotter - 🥈 (Forms)
John McLeary - 🥈 (Bo Staff)
Lewis Ireland - 🥈🥈 (Forms, Sparring)
Conall Gorst - 🥉 (Forms)

And a special mention for our team’s🥇GOLD🥇in the Synchronised Team Forms division. Team “Bob” made up of Erin Barclay, Callum Torgersen and Max Danagher absolutely smashed it 👊🏼🥋👏👏😃

The big day is here‼️
Team MPOWER- When you take to those mats today:

BELIEVE in yourself.
TRUST your training.
POWER up and
GO for it!

Challenge yourself to be the best you can be and know that in training hard for this and putting yourself out there you’ve already won the thing that matters most.

Let’s take to the mats ‼️
