Been a while since I was naptrapped 🥲 and I can’t help but think of the 100s or even 1000s of mums who are sat here like this right now too.
Rei’s really poor with tonsillitis and we have no village, meaning Mike and I have juggled it all this week, despite the fact neither of us are 100% either. I’m so grateful that we both step up when needed - Mike simultaneously parenting and working while I’m teaching, and me getting all the snuggles so he can work the rest of the time.
We know what balls we can drop (namely the housework, any decent selfcare, and me doing any work beyond showing up to teach) so we can survive, and that it’ll take a minute to catch up once we’re all back on our feet.
It’s a lot, and I know we’re not the only ones spinning all the plates. Mike and I have both worked sooo hard at communication in our relationship so that we can support each other, and too many of my friends and clients are in relationships where that feels very one-sided.
A village is far more than partners. It’s friends offering to run errands or to babysit so you can get a date night (🩷 you know who you are). It’s having people to talk to that get it, or even grandparents round the corner if you’re lucky. It’s remembering you’re doing this alongside millions of other women around the world; that we’re all muddling through, doing our best, together.
and I are running an event just for mums in Edinburgh; a chance to connect and get support through movement, breath, mindfulness and conversation.
It’s on Saturday 28th Feb and we have such a wonderful group of women joining already. There are still spaces, and wee (pre-mobile) babes are very welcome to join. These days we often have to create our own damn village, and we’d be delighted to hold space and do just that.

And finally, let’s all celebrate that I wrote all this one-handed, without dropping my phone on my daughter’s head 😅🩷

This was the best parenting advice I’ve had, and it applies to everyone (not just parents!). Time we stop gatekeeping this one guys 😬
Seeking the glimmers helps us recognise the joy in the day-to-day mundanity of life. It teaches us theres more fulfilment to be found in our life beyond big milestones/achievements.
Finding the magic in the smallest of moments transformed my life. Share with someone who needs some more joy in theirs 💕

A new offering for the new mums and the seasoned mums - and everyone in between - who are struggling to carve out space to support themselves and feel seen 💕
Join Fay and Tali on Saturday 28th February for gentle movement, breathwork, mindfulness and conversation with other mums who understand the ups and downs of parenting.
A chance to breath, move and share experiences in a container held by women who are walking the same path and really get the mental load that comes with motherhood. Pre-mobile babies welcome.
Tali is a yoga teacher and coach of more than a decade, with a 3 year old daughter and a passion for supporting parents and others who desperately want to feel better but have very limited spare time. She blends movement, mindset coaching and mindfulness practices to help others feel more resilient and able to enjoy their life again.
Fay is a yoga therapist and reiki practitioner and is a mother of two. She has been teaching yoga and holding women’s circles for the past 8 years and has found it is through coming together and witnessing one another we come back to our true nature and find community.

Last year was my time to choose my values and prioritise the things that matter to me. These are the lessons that made the biggest difference. What are you taking into this year with you?

New Years Intention setting but not as you know it 🔥
As a private yoga teacher and coach, I mainly work with busy professionals, entrepreneurs, and primary/mental-load-carrying parents – all of whom have a jam-packed schedule that can at times struggle to accommodate life’s curveballs.
We know all too well that we need a plan that is flexible and dynamic to meet our crazy lives, so I created a system that allows for this.
Save this post for when life gets crazy, OR I’ll be guiding everyone through this exact process (and then some) tomorrow Yoga & Journaling class, where we will move, reflect and create themes for the new year. There are still some spaces left if you would like to join.

I’m a huge advocate for investing in our wellbeing ... aaaand I know how financially stretched many folk have been over the past few years.
Here’s a few ways you can reduce stress and feel better without spending a thing 😌
Can you think of anything to add to this list? ❤️

I think it’s time for a reintroduction?
Hi, I’m Tali and I live in Edinburgh, Scotland, with my partner and our 3 year old Rei of sunshine (/chaos).
I’ve been teaching yoga for over a decade (2015!), and coaching for nearly that long too 🧘🏼♀️
I blend movement, mindfulness and mindset work to create an intuitive approach to wellness, supporting incredible people who are invested in transforming their lives, inside and out. I love this path, and the awesome people I get to work with 💓
Yoga changed my life long before that, and I attribute it so much of my recovery from mental illness. The “inner work” will forever be my passion.
The past 3 years have taught me soooo much. I’ve been in this perpetual cycle of letting go of so much of who I thought I was and, while I’d love to be out of the other side already, it’s been some high level healing let me tell you.
I’m Capri ☀️ Aquarius 🌙 and Sagi ⬆️ , and a 5/2 projector if that is your vibe.
I studied and worked in genetics/research for a decade, and while those days are long behind me I will always balance spirituality with science.
I’m forever juggling all the things, just like you. Let’s embrace messiness, imperfection and authenticity 🩷
