Meta-Tech turns 2 this Saturday ๐
To celebrate, this Saturday March 28th, we are holding an extended open mat from 11-1. We invite absolutely everyone and it will be free entry for all!
Skip breakfast, as there will be plenty of food/snacks avalaible on the day.

Saturday Open Mat is free for blue belts and above; the drop in fee will be applied for white belts.
All sessions are accessible to non-members with the exception of the Q&A sessions which are platinum members only.

The kids classes have been growing โญ๏ธโค๏ธ
We have a small group of young competitors who are working on understanding their most dominant positions, and how to maintain these under pressure. Meanwhile we have other kids who simply love learning the sport, and most importantly all are learning how to safely defend themselves ๐คผ
Jiu-Jitsu doesnโt only teach self-defence, but helps develop discipline, respect, and provides a space for general confidence building among young people ๐ค Never forgetting to have fun obviously ๐ค
If this sounds like something youโd be interested in getting your children involved in - we currently have two classes on the timetable: Tuesdays at 5pm & Sundays at 10am (with a potential third class to be added due to demand ๐)

Our elite kids idolize Nicky - from the day they walked into Meta-Tech, theyโve demanded every detail from every session Nicky and Cammy have ever had together over the last 10 years. There isnโt a YouTube video with B Team/Simple Man in existence they havenโt seen. When we told them he was coming, the ear drums took a pounding 24/7 until the day arrived.
This excerpt catches a summary of Nickyโs favourite techniques that we taught the boys prior to last night. We asked if they were keen on showing Nicky his own moves - they demanded the entire room shut up and watch ๐
Safe to say the man himself couldnโt have demonstrated better.
We love these boys like theyโre our own, and it was amazing to offer them this opportunity thatโll have them buzzing for the foreseeable. Fantastic work from Matty, Leo & Riley.
