Yesterday marks the 5 year’s anniversary of the opening of performance lab Grimsby!! Wow!!

That has gone so quick.

We just want to thank every member for being part of something that we only thought was a dream at first. We really appreciate every single one of you!

I can’t believe we’re having to say this, but DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT bring alcohol into our facility, we are an alcohol free zone.

A bottle of rum was found on the sauna 🤦🏽‍♂️

It should go without saying, but we are shocked every week with some of the things we encounter 🤣

We have a zero tolerance to drinking alcohol on site especially in the sauna, we’re not going to get into the science behind this just don’t do it, it is incredibly dangerous and stupid.

if you are caught with alcohol on site you will be banned immediately.

Today we dealt with behaviour that will not be accepted in this facility. We have had around 15-20 kids enter the facility go upstairs and use our boxing area without the correct protective gear on, not pay and cause issues, including disrespect and intimidation towards staff and people working on site. That behaviour will not be tolerated here, ever.

This isn’t just a gym.

We also have independent businesses that rent rooms and space from us to run their businesses. The behaviour today was directed towards those business owners and staff as well, people who are simply here to work and support clients. This behavior is unacceptable.

We are not pure gym or gym group so don’t treat us as such.

We are tightening up on monitoring and membership checks because we are responsible for keeping this place safe. If people don’t feel safe in our gym there is a serious problem and we will take action immediately.

If staff are checking memberships or asking if you’re paid up, please don’t be offended or “triggered” by it. It’s not personal and it’s not an accusation. It’s purely to stop unauthorised entry, it prevent incidents like today and protects our members, staff and on site businesses. It is in everyone’s best interest.

To be absolutely clear:
• Disrespecting or intimidating staff or on site businesses will result in immediate removal and barring
• Damaging or trashing the facility will result in immediate removal and barring
• Entering or training without paying will result in immediate removal and barring

If you are a member and see any of this activity please contact us immediately so we can take action.

Respect the people. Respect the place. If you can’t do that, don’t come in.
