What an amazing morning of football at Haverstoe Park! The energy on the pitches was incredible, and our coaches were blown away by the effort. A massive congratulations to our certificate winners for showing a top attitude, great focus, and brilliant sportsmanship! 🙌🌟⚽️

Theme: Under the Sea 🐠🌊

Ocean Explorers: Our Plus group took a deep dive into an underwater adventure this week. The players worked hard on keeping the ball glued to their feet while dodging 'sharks' and navigating their way safely through tricky coral reefs!

🛡️ Kickstarters K2–K10 (6–14 yrs)
Focus: 1v1 Dribbling Mastery ⚡️💪
Ball Manipulation: We challenged our older players to use different surfaces of their feet to move and protect the ball quickly in tight spaces.

Beating the Defender: It was all about building confidence. The players practiced explosive changes of direction and smart footwork to win their 1v1 battles during our fast-paced mini-matches.

🎉 Yesterday’s Kickstarter Of The Day Winners! 🎉

Brilliant effort from all our players yesterday! A huge well done to our Kickstarter of the Day winners for showing great teamwork, listening skills, and hard work. You smashed it! 🙌🏆⚽️

📖⚽ Reading Group (3–4 yrs)
Theme: ‘Henry’s Holiday’ (Halfway there!) 🏖️✈️

We read the first half of Henry's adventure and practiced keeping our football ' (the football) close to us with soft, gentle touches as we took part in fun activities linked to the story!

🧜‍♂️⚽ Kickstarters Plus Group
Theme: ‘Under the Sea’ 🐠🌊

Our Plus group dived into the ocean! The players practiced dribbling through 'coral reefs' and turning quickly to keep their ball safe from defenders.

🛡️⚽ Kickstarters K2–K10 (6–14 yrs)
Focus: Dribbling Skills & 1v1s ⚡️⚽

Ball Control: We focused on close dribbling, learning how to use different parts of the foot to keep total control of the ball in tight spaces.
1v1 Challenges: Players put their skills to the test in fast-paced 1v1 games, practicing quick changes of direction to beat a defender.

🦘Kickstarters Kangaroos Under 7s 🦘

Today has been a busy day for the Kangaroos!

First of all we entered the Linden Summer cup.
We did really well against older under 8s teams holding our own.

This led us into the Carabo cup final against our close friends the Kickstarter Lions.
This meaning that either of us could collect our first trophy for the club.
Fortunately we the kangaroos came out on top and won the game and the first trophy for the club. A massive well done to the Lions you all played brilliant!

Then we rushed across town to the Crofts league presentation where as a team we picked up the best sporting team award at our age group.

Well done Kangaroos you were all amazing today and I’m one proud manager!

Our kickstarter player of the tournament today went to Albie.
He was amazing in the midfield today.
He marked his man well and beat him every time he went forward even getting himself a well earned goal too.

Well done Albie and well done Kangaroos!

We deliver football sessions through thematic learning to children in education settings to help grow their imagination, immerse them in their learning and develop their football skills. Kickstarters has designed a curriculum called Kickstarters ➕ and is accessed by schools across the area as well as part of our popular Saturday Club.

These sessions are without the aid of a story, with the children getting as much ball time as possible in fun and engaging short activities, which are age related. Children will immerse themselves in themes, where they will learn basic skills of football. They will also be introduced to small sided games with 1v1s and maximum 2v2s.

✅PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME ✅

🗯️Just wanted to shout out to your coaches, Glyn and Danny. Their encouragement, praise and understanding that my son needs to be reassured, is amazing to see. As mentioned previously, my son can be quiet in new or overwhelming environments, but this is eased if he feels comfortable. I see less and less of him looking worried at sessions, which is brilliant to see. I couldn’t tell them tonight how fabulous they have been, as my boy was with me, but please pass on my appreciation 🥰😍🗯️

Glyn and Danny are fantastic coaches, with their attention to detail to each child is of the highest quality. So incredibly thankful and proud to have such great coaches working at Kickstarters😍😁
