Swim Family Come and join our Swim Family. We offer high quality and affordable swimming classes for all ages and abilities in lovely warm pools in Halifax and Keighley.

⭐⚡ New Pool ⚡⭐

We are excited to announce that we will be launching our ⭐ Advanced Academy ⭐ evening classes at Everlast Gyms from Monday 19th October!

We have access to an 18m lane, which will be great for our swimmers to progress on to continue their swimming journey with us, build stamina and continue to practise vital water safety skills.

These spaces are currently being offered to our existing swimmers before remaining spaces are advertised. However, it will mean we have more availability coming up for evening Stage 1 and Stage 2 classes at Skillshop Pool 💙

The first one being Mondays 6pm for Stage 1 Skillshop, please contact us to secure your space 😊

⭐ Spotlight on spaces ⭐

⭐⭐ Stage 1 and 2 weekend spaces! ⭐⭐

These are usually so rare but due to demand we have added extra classes that still have spaces.

💙 4 years and over, no parents in 💙

Stage 1 - is suitable for complete beginners, those who may be nervous and first time swimming. This class is all about confidence building, helping swimmers feel safe, settled and supported so they can then learn.

Stage 2 - is suitable for those already confident in the water but still a non swimmer. They are happy to play and splash around, don't mind putting their faces in, can swim around on floats and we will help them take the next steps towards swimming independently.

⭐ Spotlight on Spaces ⭐

Today's spotlight is on our Adult swimming lessons.

We offer small groups with a max of 4 or private 1:1 lessons, we really tailor these so you get what you want from them. Some have come to us with an intense fear of water, which we have helped them overcome, others haven't swam since they were a child and want to improve technique and others want to have the confidence to be able to enjoy swimming with their children or grandchildren.

Whatever it is, our amazing team of teachers are here to support and guide you to get the most out of your lessons in a warm, calm, welcoming and private environment.

Today's spotlight is on our amazing Swim Big Kid classes. Suitable for ages 2-4 years, our last stage of parent and child classes before swimmers make the transition to getting in without a parent.

We have a big focus on independence, water safety, following instructions and listening to the teacher while having loads of fun together!

⭐ Spotlight on spaces ⭐

Today's spotlight on spaces is our beautiful, gentle Swim Baby and Tot classes, perfect for mat/pat leave. These are suitable from birth (no need to wait for jabs) - 15 months, we start with a gentle introduction to the pool, focused on floating, bonding and skin to skin.

As our babies get older and stronger we start to introduce water safety skills from a young age, such as holding on, turning, jumping in and floating. Each week we vary activities, songs, games and themes while working on confidence, independence and swimming skills.

⚡ Beginners!⚡

It is rare that we have this many beginner spaces to offer at a time but due to some amazing progress before the summer, lots of our swimmers have moved up.

Our beginner classes are for 4 years and over and suitable for even those who are really nervous or just starting out in swimming lessons. We have a max of 6 children in the pool at a time with 2 teachers in the water, swimmers are sat on the platform or our steps, so always within their depth, unless with a teacher or on floats. We adapt every activity to each individual and offer lots of support to help build confidence and independence and parents can watch and cheer on from the side 🙌🏻

💙 Pre school Transition Classes 💙

For 3 years and over these classes are perfect for our pre-schoolers to start to transition to getting in without a parent.

We have a max of 4 in the class with the teacher in the water and as soon as your child is settled, parents can watch from the side.
