🛟 Summer Water Safety Week 🛟
Monday 15th - Sunday 21st June

Our summer water safety week starts on Monday 15th June and this one coincides with National Drowning Prevention Week.

We have all been really saddened to hear of the tragic losses of young lives around open water recently. We hold water safety weeks twice a year for all ages and stages and in light of those tragic accidents, next week the focus will be staying safe around different types of outdoor water in the summer.

We do hope that everyone taking part in next week's water safety sessions learns a lot from the activities we have planned 💙

Just normal swimwear required but no goggles please

💙 A huge well done to Jayden, our amazing poolside assistant, who passed his swimming teacher qualification over the half term 💙

Most of you will have met Jayden who works poolside at Skillshop on evenings and Saturdays. You may have noticed him swapping poolside for the pool while completing some co teaching over the last couple of months.

Jayden has been working hard to gain experience and complete his training and is now a fully qualified swimming teacher.

We look forward to Jayden joining more classes in the pool, please give him a warm welcome and a big well done when you see him 😊

💙 Half Term 💙

No regular classes this week at Skillshop, as there is a 1 week break for half term. We are open for those who have booked private hire and extra classes.

Trilab and Warley Road classes run through half term, so they are on as normal this week.

A perfect introduction to the pool for you and your baby or toddler. Our pool is a lovely and warm 33 degrees and our teachers are in the water and highly trained and qualified.

Our programme offers a variety of activities, songs, games and themes each week which help to build confidence, independence, water safety and swimming skills while also a lovely chance to bond and enjoy spending time together.
