Well, despite having portable air con unit and several industrial fans and hand fans we still ended up 'shimmery' in last nights class (we don't sweat - we shimmer 😁) but I feel like I can now justify the pack of doughnuts as we must have burnt at least 3 times more calories! Or rather that's what I shall use as my excuse. 😂🍥🍬🧁🍩

Was fab to be able to teach the Saturday EuroDance debut dance 'Rolling With The Boys' (I did ask both Simon Ward & Niels Poulsen when I could teach and they did say we could go for it!) I think it will be a class favourite in no time 😊

For now we are off to try and cool down our Wednesday night hall as it's another scorcher!

Rolling With The Boys is our new teach for tonights Henlow class! (I asked Simon Ward and Neils Poulsen for permission as it is unreleased as yet 😁) so i'll do my very best to do it justice as it won dance of the event on Sunday at EuroDance 2026! Can't wait to share it!! 🎶💃🕺🔥

The first was taken at Eurodance 2018 (when we all had more hair 😂🫣) Four mates came together to create a dance called BLAZE OF GLORY, a collaboration that would go on to win Advanced Dance of the Year at the 2019 Crystal Boot Awards.

Fast forward eight years and here we are again, standing side by side at Eurodance 2026, having just released the sequel, ROLLING WITH THE BOYS, choreographed to This Ain't A Love Song also by Bon Jovi.

While the dancers are something we are incredibly proud of, what means the most to us is the friendship behind this creation.

Over the years we've all travelled different roads, experienced different highs and lows, and watched life move forward. Yet whenever we get the opportunity to come together, it feels like no time has passed at all.

What started as a collaboration has grown into a genuine brotherhood. One built on mutual respect, creativity, laughter, shared experiences and a love for what we do.

Eurodance 2026 gave us the opportunity to come together once again as ROLLING WITH THE BOYS made its debut workshop. The room was packed, the energy was electric, and watching Shane take the lead and deliver the dance with such confidence and passion was a proud moment for all of us. Seeing the dancers embrace it from the very first wall made it a workshop we'll be talking about for a long time.

To my boys, thank you for the memories we've already created and the ones still to come.

Here's to many more dances, many more laughs, and many more years of doing what we love together.

FYI we just won DANCE OF THE DAY in the main ballroom 🏆
