Hope Church FC

Not the way we would have want our season to end, but we haven't won a game for a very long time, and seem to have forgotten how to do that. Time to rethink over the summer.

In our penultimate match of the season we play at home. Last week in a friendly we won 5-1 so let's see how our season ends. At least we know we are not going down to division 4!

With honourable mentions to our "international" GK Josh and our so nearly hat trick hero Anton N, it only remains to share our Man of the Match.

Our "must win" game ended in a draw against the team below us in the division so our chances of staying up with two games left in the season are hanging by a thread.
Both games are against the team above us in our division so we have everything to play for. 2 goals for Anton and many other chances towards the end keeps our hopes alive.

This is a must win game for us if we are to stay in Division 3 next season. (I seem to have been saying that quite a lot recently!)

To save our army of loyal fans a wasted journey .....

This Saturday we play a friendly at Bramford and the big motivation to win is that we also have new water bottles in the team colours! Let's see if this theory works.

Our 'must win' game started well when we scored early in the second half. It was ours to win or lose after that, and we conceded 3 quick goals which cost us the match. Strong performances from our new signings Nick and Don.

With two new signings this week, and both Josh and Joel Glover (the dynamic duo) also available, we have a real chance of a win this Saturday. It will have been a long time coming. Come on Hope Church!
