With the new season fast approaching, the squad continues to attract new signings. Welcome Brandon and Cephas!

We beat AFC Kesgrave 'A', 2-1 pre-season, but now we meet them again in the league, where points make prizes. As far as we are concerned, it is still nil - nil, with everything to play for.

We are undefeated in our four pre-season friendlies against teams from divisions 2-4. We have trained hard, stayed late, and we don't think this will be easy. But now we put into practice what we have learnt together in pre-season.

Whilst previous friendlies have found us competing against teams in Division 2 and 3, our last friendly yesterday found us competing against a team in our Division 4 who had narrowly lost their last friendly.

11 goals were scored and there were many missed chances. I can't promise all the goals are here but it is well worth a watch.

As the great Sir Alex Ferguson once said ….. “attack wins you games and defence wins you titles”.
In front of Augustin the goalkeeper we have this man, who in a very short time he has been with us, has been awarded Man of the Match, and played a significant part in stopping us being blown up.

A famous Polish goalkeeper once said that being a goalkeeper was like being the guy in the military who makes the bombs, one mistake and everyone gets blown up.
Last season we had no regular goalkeeper and got blown up quite a lot. From what I’ve seen in our pre -season friendlies, all that is about to change!

As well as new signings, it is good to be able to rely on the commitment and experience of established players. So a shout out to these legends who join us in our journey to bounce back from division 4 this season.
