As we move closer to completion, Leon, our Senior Facilities Manager visited East Riding Leisure Goole to see the installation of two brand new flumes in the main pool. 💦

This is a key milestone for the redevelopment, and we hope you agree that they will be a fantastic attraction for residents and visitors when we reopen later this year.

Tired of getting pay and display tickets? Just want to park up and go? We've got you!🚶🏽‍♀️

Once set up on our member exclusive Virtual Car Parking Scheme, you can park at our centre's car park at East Riding Leisure Bridlington, Flamborough Road car park, East Riding Leisure Beverley and East Riding Leisure Hornsea car park or Sands Lane car park for up to 4 hours a day (3 hours at Bridlington), valid only when using our facilities.

“This week I have been trying to use the gym more. South Holderness gym is remarkably quiet in the early evenings, so I went on Monday and Friday.

I was able to get through my workout plan that was created by one of the staff at the gym for me, and I was even able to go for a swim afterwards for an hour to cool down.

Whilst I am still finding the weights difficult, I feel as though my breathing is getting easier, and I feel as though I can do more. It has been a good week overall.”

Our South Holderness ambassador Chris has taken advantage of our Boditrax systems, before kicking off his fitness journey.

"After a delayed start due to catching COVID a few days before my induction, I am happy to say that I have finally been able to start my role as an ambassador for East Riding Leisure. On the 27th of October I was given my induction of the gym at South Holderness Leisure Centre.

There I was given a full body scan on a machine which can tell you your body fat percentage, how much muscle you have, and even what your bone density is. The gym itself is rather small and was very quiet when I attended, the equipment was straight forward and easy to use, and was ably demonstrated by my inductor.

I am very much looking forward to using it as much as possible over the next few months. I was also very happy to be able to use the pool facilities at the site. I really enjoy swimming, and the fact that I can go to adult swimming sessions late into the evening gives me a lot of flexibility to go as I please.”
