You won't "accidentally" get too bulky... but you might accidentally get too weak.

Somehow we've been conditioned to fear muscle and strength training as a female, yet think nothing of losing it.

The reality?

⚠️ Muscle loss starts earlier than most people realise.

⚠️ Bone density declines with age.

⚠️ Falls, fractures, loss of independence and osteoporosis become real risks.

Meanwhile, building muscle takes years of consistent effort. Nobody wakes up one morning "too bulky" by accident. It takes a huge amount of work, commitment and consistency to build significant muscle mass.

Strength training isn't about looking like a bodybuilder.

Our brand new over 50s Strength Training Class is designed for those who are new to lifting, returning after time away, or simply want to stay strong, mobile and independent as they age.

6 WEEK COURSE STARTS TUESDAY 19TH MAY

Bored and unmotivated with your current training?

Need a new challenge?

This course is for you!

6 weeks of learning the key aspects of Strongman, including atlas stones, log, yoke, farmers, deadlifts and much more.

Each week we will focus on one event, break down technique, and then put it into practice. We will also practice events we have trained in previous weeks so that you keep progressing with the lifts over the 6 weeks.

DETAILS

Sessions will be 75 mins and will be on a Tuesday evening at 7pm, starting on Tuesday 19th May

The course costs £100 and there will be a max of 6 places on this course. (Payment on booking to secure your place.)

🏆BRISTOL STRENGTH CLASSIC 2026🏆

What a day!!!

Entered my first Inters mainly so Id got something to train for and a bit of fun.

Said to myself if I came mid pack in first Inters, Id be happy with that. Not competed for about 18 months and the comp nerves were BIG!

MAX LOG (my least favourite event!) didn't get the PB i wanted but someone came away with a joint 2nd 🥈

DEADLIFTS - not been great recently but hoped for 6-8, got 10 so happy with that! - 3rd🥉

THROWING BAG FOR MAX HEIGHT - Fun! - Joint 1st 🥇

SANDBAG MEDLEY- Im not the fasted thats for sure but 2nd place 🥈

STONE RUN - favourite event by far! Smoked it😁 🥇

I was in 2nd place all day, and good old stones never let me down to get me 1st place!🏆

Suprised is an understatement!😯

Had a great day, ran by at thank you for a great comp

And met some lovely ladies. Just love the Strongman community! 💛
