Ever feel like building or maintaining muscle has become harder than it used to be? You're not imagining it. 💜
During menopause, our bodies go through some big changes that can make it more difficult to build and hold onto muscle. Things like reduced muscle regeneration, changes in how we process protein, increased inflammation, and lower levels of muscle-building hormones all play a part.
The good news? Menopause doesn't mean you have to accept losing strength.
Simple changes, like adding resistance training to your routine and making sure you're getting enough protein, can make a real difference.
Swipe through to find out what you can do to help protect your strength. 👉

Women of Gymophobics🩷
Today, we're shining a light on one of the amazing women who helps make Gymophobics such a special place...
✨ Meet Lynn from Gymophobics Rugby ✨
Lynn may have stepped back from instructing due to health challenges, but she continues to be an incredible support to our members and team every week. From personally welcoming prospective members to sharing her knowledge and experience, she always goes above and beyond to help others feel comfortable, supported, and confident.
What makes Lynn's story even more inspiring is her own amazing transformation journey. Having experienced the Gymophobics difference herself, she's passionate about helping other women achieve their goals and believe in themselves.
💜 Thank you, Lynn, for your kindness, dedication, and the positive impact you make every day. We're so lucky to have you as part of the Gymophobics family.
👏 Show Lynn some love below!

We absolutely love celebrating our members and the incredible journeys they go on with us all around the country🩷
Meet April from Gymophobics Rugeley✨
From feeling out of breath to feeling fitter, stronger and more confident in everyday life, is what it’s all about.
Here’s what the incredible April had to say about her own journey with Gymophobics:
"Gymophobics is just amazing!
I have lost 4 stone and my height in inches. I feel so much fitter and healthier. I used to get out of breath quite easily, especially playing with my grandaughter but that is so much better now, I feel fitter than ever.
I used to struggle with my neck, back and knees and this has now improved massively since being a member. I have been a member 11 years this year and wouldn't think of going anywhere else
Thank you to all the girls for being so helpful and wonderful xx"
Thank you to April for her incredible hard work and for being with us for so long🩷

No wrong answers! Are you more of a tea or coffee drinker after a workout? Or perhaps something a bit stronger on a weekend😂

Social media loves to tell us we need to completely change our lives overnight🥲
Crazy diets. 2 hour workout plans. “Summer body” plans.
But honestly? Small steps are usually the ones that actually last.
That's why our workouts are designed to fit into real life - 30 minutes, 3 times a week! This helps build healthy habits without living in the gym.🩷
Because consistency in small steps will always beat going all out for 2 weeks and then never wanting to see a treadmill again😂

Celebrating our members across the country brings us so much joy!
Meet Libby from Gymophobics Stafford✨
Libby's journey shows that with small steps, comes BIG chnages!
"I joined gymophobics back in October 2025 and have never looked back. I love that there is a routine to follow and the instructors are always on hand to help with anything. I feel more relaxed there compared to any gym I’ve been to before as there’s no pressure at all and everyone’s supportive. Having routine reviews really helps as you can track progress and really know it’s working and that keeps me motivated. I have switched my visits to McDonalds to visits the the gym and I feel just great!"
Thank you to Libby for her dedication to the process and seeing results not just within herself, but also her confidence in the gym🩷
