What a fantastic day climbing Pavey Ark, taking in Jack’s Rake as well. A true Lakeland classic. It’s a grade 1 scramble with a decent bit of exposure in Great Langdale.
The was wet today, but that didn’t dampen the views for once, and gave the lakes some much needed rain.

Instead of wind, we’ve had extreme heat to cope with. The groups have been amazing with open water crossings, fantastic team work and paddling skills.
Final day tomorrow back up Ullswater.

It was windy!
The students did amazingly well, implementing excellent strategies to cope with the constant strong head wind, including building an improvised raft 🛶
