It's just a few days now until the HSC family event of the summer — our Solstice weekend and the weather is looking 😎☀️
This year we'll have an RS Toura (rssailing.com/project/rs-toura) and a Topper Argo (toppersailboats.com/topaz-argo) on demo for people to try. Do take them out over the weekend and let us know your thoughts. We'll have people on hand to give advice should you wish to try either boat — and there's no charge for using them.
It's a Buccaneers week too, so we hope to see lots of youngsters out enjoying the water. Will there be a tug-of-water again? How many youngsters could we fit in a Toura??
There'll be the usual Match Racing in the afternoon — will the youngsters be showing us all how it's done again?
Plus, plenty of scope for social sailing and fun on the water.
The bar will be open Friday evening and Saturday afternoon until late and clubhouse will be busy offering the Après-Sailing Experience.
Communal BBQ will be running on Saturday after buccaneers and well into the evening.
The great fun of our Solstice Night Race at 9pm Saturday. After the race, the club will be serving hot pies free of charge, and on Sunday morning we'll be cooking up the now-classic HSC Special Cooked Breakfasts to wake up the weary campers.
Don't forget to get your teams in for the Solstice Race! If you are interested in joining in but don’t have a team, then let us know.
Pack your tent and come along... ⛵ Don’t forget to fill in the camping form via the website or the QR code at the club.
See you all at the weekend.

A huge thank you to all the Supernova sailors who turned up today for the Supernova Club Cup.
We’d also like to thank those who couldn’t make it but generously made their boats, sails, and foils available, helping to get more boats out on the water.
The racing at the front was incredibly close, with several lead changes throughout the day, making for some exciting competition.
Congratulations to our podium finishers:
🥉 Third place – Ali Boyd
🥈 Second place – Marcus Pakes
🥇 First place – Sean Muldoon
Thank you to everyone who took part and contributed to another great day of Supernova racing. Special thanks to the safety boat team and race management. We look forward to the next one! ⛵🏆
