Rosie used to find the garden overwhelming.

What should have been a simple toilet break turned into barking, stress, and frustration for everyone involved. So when she came in for her day board and train, we focused on helping her feel differently about going outside.

Through the right guidance and calm exposure, Rosie learned that the garden isn’t something to react to, it’s a space she can move through calmly and comfortably.

Now she can head outside, have a wander, and even settle down for a nap.

No more chaos. No more dread. Just a dog who knows how to switch off.

And when Rosie went home, the training didn’t stop there. Her owners had 30 days of support to make sure that progress continued in the real world.

Bertie’s walks used to feel more like a tug of war than time together.

He’d plant his feet, switch off, and every step became a battle. Not exactly the relaxing walks his owners had in mind.

Fast forward to now, and everything’s changed.

We didn’t use anything complicated—just a few simple, consistent tweaks:

• Starting in a calm environment
• Rewarding the choice to follow
• Adding in direction changes
• Gradually building engagement and confidence in new places

Step by step, Bertie learned that walking with his owners is actually worth it.

Now? No more dread. Just enjoyable walks together.

If your walks feel like hard work right now, it doesn’t have to stay that way.

DM me the word CALL and let’s fix it.

Stop throwing your dog in at the deep end.

Reactivity doesn’t start with the reaction, it starts with fixation.

In this video, we’re interrupting that early and building disengagement from small distractions first… then gradually working up to dogs.

That’s how you get real, lasting change, by working with your dog, not against them.

Struggling with this? DM me CALL and let’s fix it.

This is Milo… CEO, supervisor, and part-time menace.

I train the dogs, he runs the business.

Tried training before… and nothing stuck?
It’s not your dog. It’s the plan.

Most training fails because it’s generic. Same advice, same drills, no real thought about YOUR dog, YOUR routine, or what’s actually going wrong day to day.

And if there’s no management in place? Your dog is practising the same unwanted behaviours on repeat.

That’s why you feel stuck.

We don’t do cookie-cutter training.

We build a plan around your dog, your lifestyle, and put the right structure in place so progress actually lasts.

No guesswork. No going in circles.
Real change.

If you feel like you’re doing everything and your dog still isn’t improving… this might be why

More exposure isn’t always better. Dragging them past triggers and pushing through just creates overwhelm. And overwhelmed dogs don’t learn, they react

Real progress comes from slowing things down. Small wins, built at your dog’s pace. That’s what actually changes behaviour

If your dog is reactive and you’re tired of going in circles, we can help

No progress in 14 days, you get your money back

Really enjoyed being on the radio today - thanks for having me on and giving me the opportunity to share my experience around dog behaviour and raising awareness of the issues related to dog attacks,

I'm no longer surprised by dog attacks...

We’re expecting too much from dogs. Busy places, constant interaction - not every dog can handle that

Most of the time it’s not ā€œbad dogsā€ - it’s dogs pushed too far.
And bites rarely come out of nowhere.

The signs are usually there, people just miss them.
Better awareness = fewer incidents

3 things I’d never do as a dog trainer šŸ‘‡

✨ Skip the basics
✨ Rush a dog into situations they’re not ready for
✨ Punish a dog for being scared

Confidence is built, not forced.
Training should feel safe, clear, and fair for the dog in front of you.

If your dog is struggling, it’s not about doing more… it’s about doing it right.

Most people miss this moment…

Your dog looks at another dog… then chooses to look away.

That right there is the win.

It is easy to focus on the distraction, the pulling, or the reaction. But the real progress happens in the split second your dog disengages.

That choice matters.

When your dog checks out of a distraction, they are showing you they are thinking, making better decisions, and starting to choose you over the environment.

If we ignore that moment, we miss the chance to reinforce it.

If we reward it, we build it.

Mark it. Reward it. Make it worth your dog’s while to choose calm over chaos.

Small moments like this are what create big behaviour change.

Save this tip so you don’t miss it next time you’re out walking.
