What a brilliant week we’ve had at Kids Club! ☀️

The weather absolutely delivered, and it was amazing to see everyone getting stuck in and making the most of it. From soft archery and paddleboarding to kayaking, problem-solving challenges and more, the energy all week has been incredible! 🌊🏹

We didn’t manage to grab many photos because we were too busy having fun… classic Kids Club chaos 😅

Our Summer Kids Club dates are now LIVE and ready to book!

Come along tomorrow and support PaddleUK The Big Paddle Clean Up!

We will have support from NCKC, Girlguiding Northamptonshire, The Scouts, Paddle UK

There will be clean up teams on both the river and land!

The Mayor of Northampton will also be there!

With the temperatures rising, we cannot stress enough how dangerous open water can be. 💙

After hearing the heartbreaking news of more lives lost during this heatwave, we want to remind everyone that although the water may look inviting, it can still be extremely dangerous.

Please only enter the water where there are trained lifeguards present or as part of a guided activity session with the correct safety equipment.

At Northampton Active, every participant wears a buoyancy aid for a reason. Safety always comes first.

Please stay safe, look after one another, and think twice before jumping in. 🌊

We know how tempting the water looks on hot days like this ☀️

However, for everyone’s safety, please note that swimming is not allowed at our site.

The river may look calm and warm, but the water is much colder than it appears and can be dangerous, even for strong swimmers. This is why every customer taking part in our activities must wear a buoyancy aid at all times.

Customers are only permitted on the water when taking part in our organised activities such as canoeing, kayaking, or paddleboarding with the correct safety equipment provided.

You are very welcome to come down and enjoy the riverside, but please help us keep everyone safe by staying out of the water unless booked onto an activity.
