UPDATE ON OUR WHITEWATER COURSE PUMP 🌊

Unfortunately, we’re still out of action while we wait for a date for the pump to be lifted out. At the moment, we’re still unsure how long the repairs will take and when we’ll be able to get the course back up and running.

But we do have some good news! 🙌

We’ve spoken with the collaborators for Park Jam for the 18th October, and they’ve confirmed that even if the pump is still out of action, they’ll still be joining us and continuing with their talks and presentations in our upstairs rooms.

These sessions are always well worth coming along to, hearing about what paddlers have been up to, the incredible rivers they’ve tackled and the adventures they’ve had is seriously inspiring! 🏔️🛶

So, whatever happens with the pump, Park Jam is definitely not to be missed!

We’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more about the pump and when we have a clearer timeline for getting the course back in action.

We have washed all lost property clothing, please take a look through what we have left. If you recognise anything please get in touch to arrange collection. We will keep this until the end of September where we will then donate the rest to charity 🙂

⚠️ Whitewater Course Update

We have recently been carrying out essential maintenance on the whitewater course, including repairing and realigning the blocks where required.

Despite the challenges caused by the current low river level, we have been able to continue running sessions. Unfortunately, one of our pumps has now unexpectedly stopped working.

Our engineering team is investigating the fault and working to identify the cause. At this stage, we are unable to confirm how long the repair will take.

If you have an upcoming rafting, tubing or paddling session, please check your inbox. We have contacted all affected customers directly with further information and the available options.

We sincerely apologise for the disruption and appreciate your patience and understanding. We are doing everything we can to resolve the issue and reopen the course safely as soon as possible.

Whitewater Course Update 🌊

You may have noticed a few changes to our whitewater course recently.

As part of our ongoing maintenance programme, we’ve replaced the timber foundations beneath the block features in Channels B and C. This was an important upgrade to help keep the course operating safely and reliably for the future.

As a result of these works, the blocks are currently sitting in a temporary position while we assess the flow of the water. Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be gradually fine-tuning and realigning them to recreate the features and waves that so many of our regular paddlers enjoy.

We’ll also be carrying out further improvements in Channels A and B, where the blocks will be raised onto the new timber foundations as part of the same project.

These adjustments take time, as even small changes can have a big impact on how the water behaves. We appreciate your patience while we continue to refine the course, and we’re looking forward to bringing those much-loved features back.

Thank you for bearing with us during these improvements and for making this one of our busiest and most enjoyable summers yet. We can’t wait to see you back on the water!

We’ve been so busy, we haven’t managed to capture memories! So far we have had over 250 children attending our camps already!

We’re so grateful to be able to run these camps and give so many children the chance to try out watersports and land activities.

Here’s to more weeks and more memories to be made ☀️🥏⚽️💧
