☀️ SCRUMFEST 2026 ☀️

The Ashfield Ladies rugby team traded their usual match kit for absolute madness at the annual charity fancy dress match, played for the first time at SCRUMFEST, it was a roaring success! 🦁
The theme was animals 😂
From questionable running techniques in oversized costumes to some seriously impressive tries , the energy was unmatched.
We proved that you can absolutely smash a game while wearing a tutu and much more !!
Best of all? Together, we raised an incredible £470 for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) research! A massive thank you to everyone who padded up, cheered from the sidelines, and dug deep into their pockets.

You are all absolute legends!👏🏻🌈🦄

What a fantastic day! A huge thank you to everyone who came along to ScrumFest this year and helped make it our busiest event so far. There's no doubt that the glorious weather played its part, but it's your support, enthusiasm, and community spirit that truly made the day so special.

We'd like to give a massive shout out to all of our incredible bands and performers, our fantastic stall holders, our brilliant DJ, and our dedicated sound technician who helped keep the entertainment flowing throughout the day.

Most importantly, we want to say an enormous thank you to our volunteers. From planning and preparation to running the event on the day itself, they have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring another wonderful day of family fun to our community. Events like this simply wouldn't happen without their hard work, commitment, and passion.

We hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did! Please keep an eye on our social media pages for details of next year's ScrumFest, as we'll be releasing pre-launch tickets in the near future.

As many of you know, Ashfield Rugby Club is a registered charity, and ScrumFest is much more than just a family fun day. The event raises vital funds that help support the club throughout the year, including:

•Sponsorship opportunities for disadvantaged children and adults
•Equipment and training supplies
•Post-match meals
•General running costs and facility upkeep
•And much more

If you've been inspired to learn more about rugby, we'd love to welcome you to the club. All of our matches are open to the public, and our clubhouse, bar, and kitchen are always ready to welcome visitors.

•Sunday: All day, including breakfast
