The school run… it never gets easier. Well, unless you have a bunch of fellow pupils and parents to pedal to school with, and your local community cycling charity to support along the way!

We run bike buses to Pitcairn, Craigie, and Riverside St John’s Primary Schools, and they are always a blast. With some help from parent volunteers we are also keen to run bike buses home at the end of school too! Contact us at [email protected] or text 07766 180466 to learn more or get involved.

Our next pop-up bike sale in Perth will be on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd October, and as always we will have a shiny new bunch of refurbished bikes for you to choose from!

The doors will be open 10:00 - 16:30, and everyone is welcome, whether you're looking for a bike, some parts or just a browse!

What a day last week for our Pitcairn Bike Bus - we had thirteen kids ranging all the way from P1 to P7. Thanks to the three parents who joined us and to Annette from Tesco Crieff Road in the Community for providing a wee snack for all bike bus riders!

The Bike Station had a busy day at the Cycling Scotland annual conference in Perth! Our Dr Bike mechanics were offering free bike checks at the conference venue, while conference delegates came to see our work in schools and take a tour of The Bike Station community hub in Perth.

Thanks to Councillor Eric Drysdale for giving us a wee shoutout - we are really proud of the work we do with Perth and Kinross Council to help children and families enjoy the benefits of cycling.
