A strong performance from the lads tonight against higher opposition. Brilliant first half and taking a deserved 1-0 lead at the break through Ray Spear. 2nd half, foot off the gas a little and conceded last kick of the game.

Another strong performance from the lads today. Credit to Lakeside, who really made us work for it today and, for the first 30 minutes, definitely caused us problems. Once we got going, we looked superb.

A great game, two good sides battling it out. Lakeside took a 3-0 lead before Louls Belayhun whipped a lovely ball into the box for Jordan Rickards who scored with a lovely finish. Created some good opportunities and played some tidy football at times. Only positives to take as we complete our 4th game together.

Lads showed a good account of themselves against a very good side.

Josh Mutton has committed to Mount Gould for the season. A real handful of a striker with an eye for goal. Scored in every pre-season game so far, his ability to bully defenders whilst bringing players into the game is superb. Clever enough to mix his game up and adapt to his surroundings too. He's scored all types of goals so far in pre-season, and we can't wait to see him hit the ground running in the season. A massive signing for the club.

Full time result in pre season friendly 3 today. Again, playing higher opposition Plymstock United FC the boys didn't disappoint. Didn't look out of place at all.

1-0 down, gave it to the opposition, didn't let them breathe and rightfully got the leveller. Again, Josh Mutton, the lad can't stop scoring. Back to goal, 2 defenders on him, turn and hit off the post and in.

Lads were massively unlucky to not come away with a win today, created plenty of opportunities but just wasn't our day. Thanks to Plymstock for a brilliant game, played in the right spirits. All the best for the season ahead.

Man of the match - Joint today between Cayleb Needham & Josh Mutton. Cayleb ran the show in the middle of the park, set the tone with his pressing and brilliant passing display. Whilst, Muttsy, gave us such an outlet up front. Bodying defenders, winning his individual duels and ran himself into the ground for 70 minutes. Rounded off by scoring his 3rd goal in 3 games this pre season 🔥

Yesterdays full time result vs Millbrook Reserves.

First half we were very poor. New formation, only our second game together it was bound to happen. Went into the break 1-0 down.

2nd half, change of shape and personnel. Played miles better with some lovely passages of play. A towering header from Josh Mutton & a last minute equaliser against a well organised side from Oli Conday.
