There’s been so much progress to celebrate lately and Kate’s journey deserves a special mention.

Over the past few years we’ve worked together consistently, focusing on realistic, sustainable changes, and her hard work has paid off beautifully. Kate has now lost 4.5 stone since May 2022, with 2 stone 5lbs lost since last May.

An amazing achievement and so well deserved. I’m proud of you Kate well done 👏

This is Abi and she has been training with me for 5 weeks. Within that time she has come on in leaps and bounds.
In week one she struggled to lift 3kg dumbbells and exhausted quite quickly with upper body exercises. Skip forward to now and she’s lifting 6kg dumbbells in most exercises and as you can see she’s really built some muscle, whilst still losing the fat she wants rid of.
This quick progress is through her commitment to not only be consistent with PT sessions but also with her own training and her nutrition.
I’m here to help my clients with whatever they want to achieve but it is consistency that counts both in and out of the gym.
Amazing progress and commitment Abi well done 👏👏👏

Yesterday I was very privileged to be able to collaborate with the amazing Amanda Martland Menopause and Wellbeing Coach.
We put on a women’s health workshop at The Delta Marriott and had some lovely feedback.
Due to its popularity we will be planning more in the near future. Thanks to everyone who came and to Amanda for giving us her valuable time

Meet my client Christine, this time last year she weighed 6 stone more than she does now !

Christine has always struggled with her weight and asthma, she does a desk job, and can’t take HRT for medical reasons.
Last year she decided to take mounjaro, I was wary at first but she did her research and went to a professional supplier. A lot of PT’s are against mounjaro because they think it will put them out of work but I have to say Christine is more motivated than ever, when she started seeing fast results it spurred her on.
My nagging that she has to eat responsibly, since she was consuming less calories, got her thinking about food as fuel rather than a reward or comfort.
She tells me that she’s got a confidence she’s never felt before and she really values her health now. Her asthma has improved massively and she’s found the confidence to try out new things such as hoop.
We’ve been working hard to keep her muscle mass up (very important for ladies over 40) and to try and minimise loose skin.
I’m sure you will agree she looks fantastic and for me seeing the change in her confidence and commitment has been the best reward

Imagine my delight when my client Deb posted this on our group chat yesterday.
She started training with me so she could fit into a particular dress for a special occasion.
I had no doubt that she would do it, but even I didn’t think she would do it in just 3 weeks 👏 👏👏
Obviously Deb has put in the effort not just in the gym but also with her daily activity and diet.
It just goes to show what can happen when you put in the effort, and listen to your trainer to work in harmony with your body not against it !

I just love adding moves together to challenge muscles, coordination and brain !
Here we’ve added bent over curls to tricep pull backs. The bent over position is elongating through her hamstrings and glutes whilst making her contract her lower back muscles. This position really squeezes into the biceps and the turning of the wrists to transfer the movement to triceps is great for grip strength and wrist and arm strength and mobility. It’s tough on body and brain but so worth it ! Well done to my beautiful client, lovely form and great effort as always

First client of the day is a lady who needs one-to-one support moving in the pool. I’ve optimistically styled my hair… so let’s hope she’s not a splasher! 😅💦

In all seriousness though, the water is an amazing place to move sore joints and stiff muscles. The buoyancy supports you while the resistance helps strengthen muscles, and even gentle jumps give the bones a nice soft impact to help keep them strong.

Let’s see if the hair survives the first session… 🤞

I’m so proud of my 28-year-old client and the journey he’s on.

When we first started, exercise wasn’t something he would engage with at all. Now he’s achieving around 7km per session. He insists he hates strength training but I keep seeing him smile and he’s making great strides with it.

The breakthrough wasn’t about pushing harder — it was about adapting better.

Using my tablet during sessions, incorporating the videos he enjoys, repeating the phrases that help him feel settled and focused… these small adjustments create safety, trust and consistency. And that’s where progress really happens.

Inclusive coaching isn’t about making someone fit into a programme. It’s about shaping the programme around the individual.

And when you get that right? Confidence grows. Independence grows. Strength grows. 💙

His favourite phrases;

Stella’s gym sucks!

This is going to take a long hour and a half (it’s only an hour 🤣)

Am I going to rage quit?

Strength is a pain in the 🍑

🤣🤣🤣

He is the king of banter and I really look forward to our sessions
