We’re delighted to confirm that James Harrison has committed his future to the Tigers, signing on for the next TWO seasons 🐯

A key figure in the squad, James has made a big impact since joining the club, bringing physicality, leadership, and passion every time he pulls on the shirt.

🐯 Man of the Match – Lonny Fenton

“After making his debut from the bench last week, Lonny was handed a starting shirt this week and took his opportunity with both hands, delivering a great performance.

I thought, personally, that he carried hard for us in the wide channels, held his width well in defence, and put in some strong, crucial shots.”

🗣️ Coaches Comments

“I thought the lads played really well in the first half. We looked in control and showed a strong defensive effort, combined with an accurate attacking threat.

In the second half, they starved us of possession and came flying out of the blocks. Defensively, we were under huge amounts of pressure, and for long periods we defended really well. We just couldn’t replicate our success in the kick battle from the first half.

Overall, it was a great game of rugby to watch, but one where we feel disappointed not to come away with the result.

Our scrum was solid and gave us a strong set-piece option. However, our line-out, both in attack and defence, was an area of concern this week.

It’s something we will have to review and fix before next week’s fixture on the road at Preston.”
