SCC Cornwall meet 2026, part 2/2.

Cornwall Part 1/2. SCC descend onto the sleepy town of St Just every year for a week off beautiful trad. This year we were there during a heat wave, which just meant more ice creams and swimming!

Wye valley, June 2026. Something for everyone with lots of sport and trad to choose from.

North Wales is always an SCC favourite and our late May bank holiday trip to Llanberis was no different. We had a big turnout and despite the heat wave, imposing classics were tackled, slate routes mastered and adventures had.

May started strong with a club trip to Pembrokeshire for some incredible coastal trad climbing! While some of the team scaled the sea cliffs, others dived into a coasteering adventure—traversing from Barafundle Bay to Stackpole and exploring hidden sea caves along the way. We’re keeping the momentum going with our next trip to North Wales for the late May bank holiday!

Shoutout to tenerife_climbing_house for the awesome facilities! Can't wait to come back and do it all again! Post-climbing BBQ was the perfect way to unwind, stuff our faces, and share some epic stories!

What a break! Our first foreign trip of 2026 was phenomenal! We sold out quickly and grabbed every climbing opportunity. Team Chalet took the lead with a breathtaking multi-pitch climb up La Catedrel. Stumbling upon El Rio, Arico, Los Naranjos, Tamadaya, and Fantasma was pure enchantment! The range of grades made it perfect for our entire group!
