We have a packed closed season schedule this year. We look forward to seeing members and guests over the closed season.

SEPTEMBER UPDATES

Today is our friendly v Spittalmyre starting at 2pm.

Next week, 19th, the Cruz/Mitchell club mixed fours comp will take place.

The season closes on 26th September when we play for the Young trophy.

Many thanks to all our members and visitors who attended the club this season.

Reminder: BBC Radio 2 in the Park is being held at Stirling City Park this weekend, Friday 11 September to Sunday 13 September. Please anticipate potential delays and restrictions to parking in and around the club this weekend and allow extra time for any journeys.

BORESTONE FRIENDLY

Great afternoon today at our annual friendly against Borestone BC. The weather held and we enjoyed 17 ends in the (mainly) sunshine!

Huge thanks to Borestone for their hospitality today. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, with lots of laughs being heard across the green.

We look forward to welcoming Borestone to Stirling next year.

Green looking fantastic, especially at this stage in the season. Well done Davie!

Also a huge thanks to everyone who has put in time throughout the season to keep the surrounds weeded and looking spectacular. It does not go unnoticed!

FINALS UPDATES

This week saw another two Gents competitions completed.

On Thursday night, the gents triples final took place between Jamie, JR and Sandy K v Brian, Sandy H, and Manny. Another very tight game with Jamie, JR and Sandy just winning 10 9.

Last night the gents senior fours took place. This game was contested between Drew, Brian, Robin and Tony against Chris H, David H, Peter and Stewart. Coming out on top were Drew, Brian, Robin and Tony.

Congratulations to the winners and commiserations to the other finalists.

There are still a small number of finals to play and the page will be updated when dates are known.

Thanks to all members for making every effort to ensure internal competitions are complete by the season end.

SEPTEMBER FRIENDLIES

Tomorrow, Saturday, we head to Borestone BC for our annual friendly starting at 2pm. We are really looking forward to the afternoon. Fingers crossed the weather is kind.

Next Saturday, 12th September we are away to Spittalmyre in our last friendly of the season. Team is attached. Please let Tony know as soon as possible if you are unable to play.

FINALS UPDATE

Catching a break in the weather, the gents 2 bowl pairs final took place this evening with Davie M and Lee playing against Willie and Manny.

Tonight the game wasn't so close with Davie M and Lee winning comfortably.

Congratulations Davie and Lee, commiserations Willie and Manny.
