⚠️ Update for dog owners - dogs on leads at all times and no dogs allowed on pitches.

DOG WALKING AT BRIDGEHAUGH – IMPORTANT NOTICE

Despite repeated requests, dog fouling continues to be a problem at Bridgehaugh.

Last weekend, a Women’s Premiership match had to be stopped while dog mess was removed from the main pitch. We have also had further incidents on our training pitches and pétanque area.

This is unacceptable. With immediate effect:

- All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times while at Bridgehaugh.
- Dogs are not permitted on any rugby pitch or pétanque piste.
- Owners must pick up after their dogs immediately.
- These are no longer requests. They are the conditions for bringing a dog onto the grounds.

We know many dog owners use Bridgehaugh responsibly, but the actions of a small number are putting players, children, coaches and other users of the club at risk.

If these rules continue to be ignored, dogs will be banned from Bridgehaugh altogether.

If you see someone ignoring these rules, please report it to the club.

Keep dogs on leads. Keep them off the pitches. Pick up after them.

Many of our young players will recognise Ceitidh from her time coaching P2/P3 and leading our holiday camps. What an absolute inspiration for our kids to see her earn her first Scotland cap! 👏✨

Minis P5 Player of the Week! 🏆🔴⚪⚫️

This week the trophy has been awarded to Elliot 🏆

Elliot only joined the club at the very end of last season, so its fantastic to see a new member who plays their best rugby, puts a big effort in during training and then contributes as a true team player on matchday. 🏉👏

Well done Elliot - very well deserved 👏🙌

As you’ll know, one of the highlights of the Minis season is the annual Minis Tour!

Usually held the weekend after the Easter School break, it's a chance for the P5-7s to spend some time team building off the pitch and make some lifelong memories. 🔴⚪⚫️

To run the tour we need to fundraise and we need some enthusiastic volunteers to help!

We have some fun ideas but we can't do it alone - if you're interested in helping out please come along to our fundraising meeting this weekend:

Big shoutout to Andrew, David, and Craig A (pictured) who, along with Neil (head micros coach) and our newest volunteer Craig L, are doing an incredible job coaching our ever-growing P2 squad.

With so many new faces joining the Micros, having 5 dedicated coaches makes all the difference!

Minis P5 Player of the Week! 🏆🔴⚪⚫️

The Scottish weather might have finally caught up with us, but the grey skies couldn't dampen the spirits as our Minis squads took on Hillfoots at home today! 🌧️🏉

A fantastic new trophy is up for grabs for the P5 squad each week - it will go to players who consistently put in maximum effort, show great team spirit, and bring their absolute best to both training sessions and matchdays.

This first week of the season, the trophy has been awarded to Archie 🏆

Well done Archie - very well deserved 👏🙌
