The summer break is over and Alpha Amateur Boxing Club is back from Monday! 👊🦁

⏰ Training starts from 6PM and our normal schedule resumes, so it’s time to get the gloves back on and get back to work! 💪

We hope everyone enjoyed the break and is feeling refreshed and ready to go. We’re looking forward to seeing all our boxers back in the gym and getting the new season underway.

🥊 SUMMER BREAK NOTICE ☀️

Our final training session before our summer break will be on Wednesday 29th July.

We’ll then be taking a two-week break, returning to normal training on Monday 17th August, ready for another exciting season at Alpha Amateur Boxing Club.

Please note: Fight City will remain open throughout the break for members who have been issued an access code. Access is strictly for those members only and is 18+.

We’d like to thank all of our members for their hard work, commitment and support throughout the season. Enjoy a well-earned break, stay active, and we’ll look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed, motivated, and ready to get back in the ring.

⚠️ Class Cancellation Notice

Due to the extreme heat, all Alpha Amateur Boxing Club classes are cancelled this week.

The safety and wellbeing of our members comes first. We’ll provide updates regarding next week’s schedule as conditions improve.

A huge thank you to Neilson Boxing for generously donating a signed Lee Selby boxing glove for us to raffle on the front door at their professional show in Swindon last night. 👏🥊

Thanks to everyone’s support, we raised an incredible £330, which will go directly towards purchasing new equipment for our amateur boxing club.

We would also like to extend a massive thank you to our amateur club staff who volunteered their time to help run the front door and assist with the raffle throughout the evening. Your hard work and dedication helped make this fundraising effort such a success.

Every pound raised will help support the development of our amateur boxers and improve the equipment available at the club.

Thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets and contributed to these vital funds. Your support is greatly appreciated. 💙🥊

Locked in for another year 👊🏼

As the season comes to an end, we want to thank everyone who’s supported us throughout the year — through the highs, the lows, the quiet periods and the busy ones.

It’s been a strong season for Alpha, with our boxers staying active, representing the club up and down the country, competing in club bouts and championships alike.

We’re proud to announce that Alpha has officially registered for the 2026/27 season, and we can’t wait to continue building with the people who support and believe in what we do.

In this sport, you get out what you put in — and our coaches are ready to give everything to those willing to match that effort with commitment, hard work and attendance. We’re looking forward to another successful season together.

Stepping onto the stage for the first time is a challenge in itself, but to come away with a unanimous victory speaks volumes about the hard work, discipline, and dedication he’s put in behind the scenes. This is only the beginning.
